LOL Great job Shirley! I think you got them all but then again I had a endsoscopy today to check my acid reflux so after that anesthesia I wouldn't doubt it if I didn't know my butt from a hole in the ground! haha
Hope you feel better soon. Glad you didn't have to have the other end *.oscopy. That would really would have been funny with the end of your post.
LOL yeh...not ready for that *end* yet. *shudders*
Speaking of geeky. I know a few days ago i mentioned that the description of the gold dragon sounded alot like smaug from jrr tolkiens the hobbit ( stealing and subsequently sleeping on a mountain of gold). Well i just read the description for the new slag dragon and i think its another tolkien reference. It mentions the mines of drammoria which sounds suspiciously to me like the mines of moria in tolkiens lord of the rings. Just sayin

Interesting catch Sean...hmmm...I bet you are right there.
It's connected to the level of your dragon and the value of your park. As you go up and levels, your park gets more dragons, islands, habitats and decorations it is worth more, so you need to start using higher level dragons to get your Gold Medals. Hence leveling them up to get your Gold Shrines and leveling them up beyond Level 15 to keep winning Golds.
Ahh, so just leveling up an individual dragon & putting it into the coliseum is not necessarily going to get gold? I would be better off leveling up as many dragons as possible? Or am I misunderstanding?
Hi MM, try the following strategy that several of us use: level up a couple of dragons that cover a wide spectrum of elements. If you have a Panlong, level it up to 15+. That'll cover Fire, Water, Air, Earth. If you have a Bloom, level it up to 15+ to cover Plant, Cold, Lightning. Finally, level up a Metal. If you don't have bloom, then use a combination of Magnetic and Lichen or something like. I other words, you can cover all 8 elements with 3 L15+ dragons.
Many of us use the same 3 dragons for all coliseum competitions.

Thanks, myke (and Fletch & bliss). I really appreciate the help. I just spent all my DC raising a bunch of dragons I want to keep to lvl 11, so now have to do some serious gardening to replenish my treat supply. Looks like I need to spend some of the DC i've been hoarding on faster growing, more productive plants. Not all of my shrines are silver yet so need to finish those up also in order to raise dragons to lvl 15. Little by little, with the help of the great folks on this forum, it all becomes a little clearer. Thanks again!
It makes 59 DC/Min. at Level 15. Sells for $1,150,000.
Jack do you name the dragons yourself? LOL
Fabio the metal dragon made me spit doctor pepper
Yes. Funny, huh? Had to name this one for Tony. The others are all Paisanos.. I have fun with my Pans as well. Moe, Larry, & Curly...Leonard, Wallowitz, & Rajesh...Jose, HoseB, HoseC...Huey, Louis, & Dewy...and so forth. My son gets a hoot out of them.

Is there any news about when backflip may allow us to go past level 35?
Haven't seen any news on this anywhere yet. Maybe soon, let's hope.
On the topic of levels past 35: to anyone who has plenty of food, to stop growing it and save your money. We all know that the coliseum gold medal gives you 10% of your level in experience. The other way of speeding up levels is to buy the three most expensive food tiers. So put off buying food if you can until (if) the new levels open up.
