Adjusting the title/thread to make this an open service to any and all. Just post the number of dragons you have at each level, and if you are missing any breeding pairs, notably Panlong, Bloom and Paper at the moment.
There are 3 standard sets of numbers:
If you have Panlong, Bloom and Paper.
33 Bloom 33 Panlong 17 Paper 17 Magnetic 17 Rust 16 Chrome 1 Air
134 Dragons for 400 Elements
If you have Panlong and Bloom but no Paper.
50 Bloom (Cold, Plant and Lightning Shrines) 37 Panlong (Earth, Fire, Water and Air) 13 Rust 13 Brass 12 Iron 12 Chrome 1 Sandstorm
138 Dragons for 400 Elements.
If you have Panlong, but not Bloom nor Paper.
50 Panlong 50 Magnetic 50 Reindeer/Lichen
150 Dragons for 400 Elements

Also ... someone posted in the Hints and Tips thread that making an App to calculate the most efficient way to get Silver/Gold Shrines would be a good idea. Whilst I'm not sure an App would be financially viable as it would cost me $99 to sign up to make an app for resale, the challenge intrigues me, and I believe there is a way of making an App testable and available for people for free.
A breeding calculator has been created by one of the boffins at the wiki forum at dvcalc.pf-control.de/ If you visit this page on your mobile device you can enter dragon combinations and see what the possible results might be. I'd like to create something similar.
I realise that it is going to be much more complicated, because there are 8 variables with entries from 0 to 50 and right now I have no way to work out how to automate the process that I can do manually, but obviously it is possible. I'm starting this thread to jot thoughts down.
Shrine Breeding Processes Collect Shrine Numbers Don't know whether to make this a drop down box for each element with numbers from 0 to 50 or to make it a numeric entry box.
Collect approx amount of DC collected from habitats during 24 hours Need to know approx how many Dragons can be leveled up each day. Will add on 7.5 million for 5 Mag dragon breeding in one habitat.
See if Bloom Dragons are required IF required plant dragons > 0 AND required cold dragons > 0 AND required lightning dragons > 0 THEN IF required plant dragons <or= required cold dragons AND required plant dragons <or= required lightning dragons THEN make "required plant dragons" Bloom dragons OR IF required cold dragons <or= required plant dragons AND required cold dragons <or= required lightning dragons THEN make "required cold dragons" Bloom dragons. So, first thing I do, now, is to check that they have Plant, Cold AND Lightning Dragons to level up. Then I make Blooms for the smallest number of elements. So I'll start adding instructions as I think about it, and add it to the OP.

Fletch this is a fabulous idea! For me personally, it helps to understand WHY I'm doing something! This game is a serious time investment and I like to at least understand the method to getting where I'm going. May I beg you to help me yet again with the golden shrine grind? I have tried to calculate so many different ways, and I cannot seem to make it work out evenly or efficiently. I have plenty of time as I am currently working on feeding the dragons that were previously on my list to do up to 15.

I'm at a point where I can use your help with Jack's shrine grind. Here's where we are:
Earth - 33 Air - 27 Lightening - 6 Metal - 16/50 silver, 3/50 gold Plant - 5 Fire - 43 Water - 27 Cold - 20
My CGCF has 27 Pans, room for a bit more.
