Hey folks,
Wasn't really sure where to house the first Twinstone thread I made, but I'm think maybe it should be in the Contest Board? Okay, so the adjusted rules as we have learned things ...
1. Those keen to use Their CBC exclusively to try for a Twin Opal post in this thread with their GCID and/or a link to their Facebook. 2. To allow people to chase other dragons during next month if they like you now indicate whether you want to BREED FOR 2 WEEKS or UNTIL I GET IT 3. Any pledge of gems can be made when registering. 4. This is open to players on all platforms, so an indication of whether Facebook friends are welcome is also necessary. Posts should like this

5. You have until midnight September the 30th (BFS Time) to register. I will then randomly sort the names into two lists, one for LAVA, one for MUD. 6. Everyone in the LAVA list breeds a Lava with the top person in the MUD list. Everyone in the MUD list breeds with the top name in the LAVA list. 7. The list order will be rotated during October to give everyone multiple shots at the top spot of their list. 8. When someone breeds a Twin Opal with the first person on the list, the person who is second moves up to the top and everyone breeds with them. 9. People who have bred/received a Twin Opal are under no obligation to help the others, but obviously all help is appreciated. 10. Rinse and repeat until midnight October the 14th. 11. Anyone who has elected to only breed for 2 weeks and has not bred/received a Twin Opal by then will be removed from the lists. 12. The rest of us will continue we all have the necessary twins or October is over. 13. Anyone can join to help after the event has started, but they are added to the bottom of one of the lists.
Any and all questions and comments are welcome. I was going to add a comment for those that don't have one of the parents, but that doesn't seem very likely with these two dragons.

Let's see how we can arrange this. Randomising number order ...

If we split the sequence in half we get most of the NO FB people with the one Android contestant. The only one we need to move is James Valer and the only one we can move is Hyder's OUtrage. So swapping them gives us our two groups and the order they should be in. Have rotated t through the numbers to put two of our unlucky players for the Sapphire at the top of the list.

I'm still confused about the rules Fletch, and I'm not sure I'm alone in this: By everyone breeding w the opposite list top name; do you mean ( what I'm calling) 'actively breeding', ie selecting their list dragon and adding your list dragon, every time, or do you mean just blue hearting your list dragon while maybe also breeding w another dragon? The former. So
Lava List A B C D
Mud List Z Y X W
A,B,C&D are actively breeding their Lava Dragon with Z's Mud Dragon. Z,Y,X&W are actively breeding their Mud Dragon with A's Lava Dragon.
So A & Z have 4 people breeding with their dragon and they are breeding with the top of the opposite list, meaning they have 5 chances of a Twin Opal every breeding cycle. As the names cycle through the list everyone gets a shot at the top with a 5x boost to their chances.
What that means is you pledge, for at least 2 weeks, to be actively breeding for a Twin Opal and nothing else. Does that clear things up?

Hello all, I just thought I would take the liberty of posting all the possible outcomes of a Lava X Mud Combo. I realize that one could easily go the DV Sandbox to find this information, but I figured posting it here might make it easier on us (i.e. referring back to this post as opposed to opening another tab to access DV Sandbox).
Also, this post will serve as a means of bumping this thread topic.
So here we go:
LAVA X MUD COMBO POSSIBLE OUTCOMES
6 H = Mud 8 H = Obsidian 9 H 30 M = Salamander 10 H = Lava or Bone* 11 H 30 M = Coral 13 H = River or Motley** 23 H = Geode 31 H = Opal
*Bone Dragon will become a possible fail while trying for Opal Dragon once it becomes available again **Motley Dragon, according to my research, should NOT be available during the month of October, and therefore should not be possible as a fail (however, I included it just in case)

I have BOUGHT gems, I am so refusing to even CONSIDER that my bday month will see me still a twoser and fed up a second Mud and Lava just in case, so that I get a twin and a norm... heehee

In the three weeks or so we have bee running the Twin Sapphire comp we have seen 8 Twin Sapphires emerge. There is plenty of chance to get a Gem dragon with an orb if you want to participate for a couple of weeks. Enter now. Last days.
