I just watched the short video on DV facebook. So, each of the new dragon will have his own habitat? And the habitat seems to be an 8x8? Oh god, I don't have space for that...

8x8! Do we have the choice to hibernate this dragon?

8x8! Do we have the choice to hibernate this dragon?
Well, they look like the same size as the largest seasonal habitat, so I'm guessing it's 8x8. BFS says the habitat comes automatically when you unlock the dragon, so I guess you have to at least have an empty space to put it down first, then decide if you want it hibernated and stow away the habitat (if possible)? I wonder what would happen if you don't have space when you unlock them though. Going to the gift page?

Help, you guys with gaming experience: any tricks for rolling that die? I was a klutz on the Spin the Wheel and have little faith in my skills.
The problem here is, only one roll per day to trial techniques; event wheel spins are 10 or so ive tried 2 straight swipes, rubbish low results tomorrow will try a twirly swipe to see what happens; also I find it hard to get a good connect w the die, so I'm not sure how much difference 'technique' will make 😢

Each habitat is 7X7....still large... but both look really cool.
Thanks for all the great ideas guys. The key is to make sure there still is a balance of not being too powerful which can make the game boring, or too weak and not having much benefit to players, which can be hard to gauge and execute given the huge range of players' levels and the different types of players (completionists, decorators, those who maximize their cash/gem earnings, etc). I think this was a good first introduction for the mythical dragons, so BFS can learn a lot from the experience. And this is purely speculation, but if I had to take bets, I'd say any boost to the frequency of twins might come with an upgrade to the CBC, in some compacity.
I am always telling my kid: Sometimes in life you are handed something that may not seem like much at the time it was given but as you go further down your path, that something turns out to be a blessing in disguise.
Let's say BFS has been listening to yours truly over the years (BFS, ya listening?) and decides to create a "park within a park". You click on a link in the corner of your park and it wisks you to your alternate universe park where all of the Twin Dragons you currently have stashed in your DV Attic™ are happily residing. Golly, Bahamut and Tiamat would sure come in handy then!
I have zero elder dragons and most are under level 14. This is definitely a plus for new dragonvalers. 😁
And I love all the power suggestions! One of my favorites is knocking out 1-3 possible breading combinations for the duration of the power. I'm in breeding-fails Hades right now. 😏
I just added the BAHAMUT puzzle to the second post of this thread for easy reference.
For the record: My die rolling skills are improving... yesterday I rolled a 2 and today I rolled a 3!
Mine are regressing. I rolled a 19 yesterday and got my first piece! And I rolled a 3 today. 😏
Me too, rolled a 16 yesterday and a 10 day, ah well, it will happen eventually.
And, BTW and FYI...
I decided to buy all the 50 gem pieces of Tiamat, and my roll today, presumably for the more expensive 100 gem piece, had options of 25k, 50k, 75k and 100k treats, so it looks like the rewards get better as you are going for the more expensive pieces.

I'm guessing its all just RNG no matter what technique you use to roll the dice, but I'd be interested in hearing about any strategies that have shown otherwise. As you pointed out, its going to take awhile to get any notions about this, with just one roll per day available.
Sorry...imagine the game randomly assigns a number to each breed attempt you make, and the number is something from 1-100. So when you hit the "breed" button, the game assigns the random number. A limited dragon "hit" (successful breed) might come from any number between 95 and 100 (or whatever), and any number you get below that would give you a more common dragon. I believe that's how dice rolls, wheel spins, and other luck-based outcomes in the game work.
I think it quite fun to have a different way to get a dragon rather than just repeated breeding. Most of us here are in the game for the long term so a little time won't make a difference in the long run. With regard to the abilities I normally want all of them and the majority don't do anything at all. So I'm pretty happy

May I say, The completionists must be on the top of the dragonworld order. All other -ists or -ors must be in a second line. We are probably all of mixed orders; I am for example both a completionist and an Egglander!
May the mythical dragons fly in, and the smoke from the chimney be shown again 😋
My Eggland is my pride My new wish is to get twin-eggs on my Eggland In DV from autumn 2012
