With the new month, comes a new installment of POTM. It works like this:
You find a post you like and you nominate it for Post of the Month. You do this by quoting the post and adding the comment "Post of the Month" or if you think you can't pull it off, simply "POTM". A Mod will move your POTM Reply to this thread. Conversely you can right click on the "Link to Post" at the bottom of each post and Copy Link Location. Then post in this thread with "Post of the Month" (or "POTM" if you think you can), right click in the thread and Paste. You cannot nominate your own post ... I mean c'mon ... that's just really lame ... no matter how cool/funny/clever/poignant you think you were. Each post can only be nominated once. The first person to do so gets the nod. On the 1st of next month (or thereabouts, I mean, we're all working folks here, well most of us) we'll make a Poll with all the nominated threads and everyone here will be invited to vote for their favorite thread. You'll have about a month to vote. So at the end of next month we'll have a winner, or more accurately, two, because the original poster AND the person who nominated them wins. What do you win? Gems of course. The mods will pay the winners.
So, to sum up. - Make good posts. - Nominate good posts. - Vote for posts. - Profit. - Have a laugh.

You don't. In their infinite wisdom BFS released Rift Hiddens, which need Rift Monoliths in order to be breedable, but not the Rift Monoliths themselves. Not only are they not breedable due to the 'need 2 monoliths to get a monolith' thing, but they're not trait enabled at all. Neither are the Chrysalis dragons which were also expected as an Easter Rift release. The whole situation boggles the mind.
Me, bitter? Not at all. Just very confused by the decisions BFS made here. Oh well, at least the event dragons are cute.
Just what we need. Another new low-success double-locked-combo Rift limited to go in the "yeah this is going to be a pain to breed" pile with Ovalith, Dusk, Dawn and Midday. At least the combo is easier this time. And around longer too. But I swear BFS is releasing these now just to try and break my will to keep the Ovalith breeding going.
Anyway, I totally missed that one, thanks for pointing it out. I guess this will probably start a trend of new Gems/Crystals being Rifted as they rotate in. I'll update the 1st post pre-emptively.
I second this! Far too many rift versions to try for in such a short time. We have the sun/moon bunch leaving around Tuesday/Wednesday (with Winter leaving a day earlier, unfortunately. I thought he'd be included in the group so I haven't tried yet for him, but will tmw), then the Hidden dragons now that the Monoliths have been given rift versions and I'm hoping that they, along with Ovalith, will be rift available until 4/2 - the end of the event, then also rift Quartz (leaving 4/15?), and finally rift Hooded, no idea when the awesome snake dragon will be leaving. I hope it's not for a while, since I have been very very busy in the rift! I know that, even when these dragons leave the market, you can technically get the rift versions of them via mystery eggs (like the purple epic one), but there are so many epic dragons, yet not too many have rift versions yet. We are in an awkward moment where there are too many to try to breed, yet not enough to start just buying bulk epic mystery eggs. I gotta say, I am starting to feel Rifted myself!!
Ok so my decorous second-only genteel whine resulted in NADA! So here's a full blown grumble-whinge: puhleeeeeze witches and wizards of Vale and Rift; just one, just one of the current limiteds: most hopefully a Celtic, but ANYTHING will be so gratefully received: 6 months of sulphur dragon hab cleaning, strewing the floors with fragrant rushes and wild herbs, new supplies of 'the water 'o life' shall magically appear in all quaffing goblets, and little crispy nibbly things shall be supplied in HUUUGE amounts for a week How's that then? ( ye greedy wee skuggans so y'are) ahem, smile, bow, curtesy, pull forelock and grovel backwards leaving the august personages assembly 🌹🌻🌿🍉🍌🍒🍇🍯🍗🍟🧀🌮🍢🍡🍮🍧🍻🍻🍻🍾🍸🍸🍷🍷🍹🍹🍼😈

I have to say, POTM for the hilarious letter format but I believe the Utterly Rifted sentiment is starting to grow and grow with every dragon BFS adds rift traits to, without allowing the dragon to actually be bred in the Rift.
