So I'm wondering about getting a Rift Gravity dragon. I know you can't breed one in the CBC. Will the only way to get one be to buy Galaxy Eggs of Mystery until you luck out and get one? (After this event is over, I'm sure. I'm assuming Gravity is not available as a Mystery egg while this event is in progress). It seems like the only other possibility would be to get one in the next available Runic Breeding Cave event, whenever that happens. But I can't remember if you can breed two Galaxy dragons together in the Runic Caves. I'm sure this information is out there somewhere, but I haven't been able to find it. Anybody?

Unfortunately, the Runic Breeding Caves won’t be of help. Gravity can only be cloned at the Co-op. Players will have to get a traited version from the Galaxy Mystery Eggs, unless DECA changes the breeding rules. Gravity isn’t in the Galaxy Mystery Eggs right now, we have to wait until the eggs are back next year.
Unless players like the near impossibility of getting a traited Gravity dragon, my recommendation is for EVERYONE to complain about this A LOT on the Gravity Rate a Dragon thread, so all our complaints are passed on to DECA. Then hopefully, they’ll let us breed the Gravity dragon in the Rift or change the Galaxy Mystery Eggs so we don’t receive duplicates.

That is a great idea samiam. The more players who complain about not being able to get traited Galaxy dragons the more likely it is that Deca will listen and make it possible to breed them elsewhere - it would be awesome if they could be bred in the Runic Caves, even though they only appear in events.

This is an excellent suggestion, and the most effective way to pass on player feedback to the entire DV team. Thank you, samiam! I will mention Gravity’s debacle to Deca, but it helps immensely to have a lot of voices from the DV community. Oftentimes, that’s what it takes for change to occur.
For a little background, I think it’ll be unlikely that Deca will alter Gravity’s breeding hint. Currently, Gravity can only be cloned at the co-op. To allow players to obtain a traited version, Gravity will need to be bred in the Rift. That means, it would need a combo like 'any Galaxy dragon + Midnight'. This is similar to Lunis and Solis, which can be bred in the Rift. But due to this exception and the bending of the Galaxy breeding rules, Lunis and Solis now have a bug at the Runic Breeding Caves. If they’re bred at the RBCs, the game crashes. As a result, whenever the RBCs are in the game, Lunis and Solis are unavailable. So far, Deca has not been able to resolve the bug. If Gravity is given a breeding combo, it will have the same fate. I don’t think Deca wants another troublemaking dragon at the RBCs.
Therefore, I believe fixing the Galaxy Egg of Mystery is the best solution. With 22 Galaxy dragons, lowering the price of the Galaxy mystery eggs won’t help much. Every time a new Galaxy dragon is added to the game, players will spend millions in Etherium to obtain a traited version. I agree with samiam, no duplicate traited Galaxy dragon with the Galaxy Egg of Mystery seems to be the only reasonable and fair answer.
The young wizards, Elnath and Zeta, were playing close to the surface waterfall when they heard a distressing noise. Beyond the Chary Hills, they saw TAURIAN caught in the muddy yard of Mud’s adobe abode. Elnath and Zeta cautiously approached the furious Taurian. Each of them grasped a piercingly sharp Taurian horn and pulled and pulled with all their weight until the dragon broke free. Taurian was so overwhelmed with delight, he let the wizards climb on his back, and off he travelled into the deep sky. Today, you can still see Elnath and Zeta Tauri at night; they are the two stars at the tip of each horn in the Taurus constellation.
Forget the Running of the Bulls. The Cloning of the Bulls is taking place in the co-op right now, with Taurian at level 20. Koala constellation to all!
Breeding hint: MIDDAY + earth
Breeding/incubation time: 24 hours
Status: Limited tier, 10 days
Contributing elements: cold, lightning, earth
Habitats: Zodiac, earth
Breeding percentages: breeding hint 3.2%; social clone 1%
Pro Tip: Arctic is your best dragon to fulfil Taurian’s earth element in the Rift and maximise your Star Dust.

I think the best solution would be to implement a co-op breeding cave for the rift. We should all comment that in the gravity rate a dragon thread as well. I think it should be a special once a day breed spot to keep things challenging, but not impossible.

That would be a complex solution for Deca to implement, so it would take quite a while before they could add that to the game. It also fundamentally changes the Rift by allowing players to clone their friends’ dragons for traited versions. Right now, the Rift is challenging because you’re on your own. Perhaps it’s too challenging though. I don’t have anything against a Rift Cooperative Breeding Cave, but Deca will need to weigh out the impact and ensure it’s not providing an 'imbalance' in the game.
Whereas, changing the Galaxy Egg of Mystery is something they can do quickly that doesn’t involve adding a new feature. It would also address the current problem of the overinflated Galaxy eggs. So, it’s like saving two birds with one stone.
What a fab event this has been for me, I have bred at least one of the limited dragons in both my parks! And what beautiful dragons they are. DECA have surpassed themselves this time, I will be commenting in the rate a gravity dragon thread to let them know Koalas to everyone for the rest of the event, let me know if you need anything blue hearted
Can I get a rifted Solarflare from a doubled up pair in the runic breeding caves?
If not, I could buy some gems to have enough to collect the event reward. If I can get it, I'd be fine with not buying Ariesian and spending the rest on my needed decorations. I need a rifted one. It would look better on sun island, but that trick relies on light reward habitats.

You can only get a traited Solarflare from the Galaxy Mystery Eggs.

I do know about that trick, but I just don't have the millions needed in currency to shrug the cost off.
I skip every third event at least, so when I hoard currency, it goes towards normal mystery eggs. This event, I got a rifted Prestige, rifted Tebori and some priorly unowned rare dragon.
Twice in two weeks now have I been sent a twin of my co-op dragon, then gone and sped up a couple of hours to start trying to twin a different dragon, only for the sped up breed to be a second twin of that same dragon. Not a complaint mind, if nothing else it adds to my somewhat half-baked twin egg collection. I just think it's funny that it has happened twice in a row.
This event has been going okay-ish for twins, better than the last couple at least. I stopped being able to keep up with Blue Fire when Triple Rainbow arrived. I've not been specifically trying for it: I've bred enough Double Rainbow twins to know that it'll happen eventually. Arguably when Blue Fire properly got away from me was with Morphimagus, with 16 clones without a twin, and several more dragons released and not twinned during the weeks I was trying for it.
So (funnily enough) I'd love a twin weekend at some point. We haven't had one so far this year, right? I do wish they were more consistently scheduled.

I hear you! Twin Weekend was definitely requested by the Game Reps for this event, and the previous event. It’s terribly unfortunate the mini event has been neglected for so long. I agree, Deca really needs to put it on a schedule, so 8-9 months don’t pass with no Twin Weekend; I’ll make this recommendation. It’s constantly being forgotten and left behind.
Are we sure there won’t be a surprise added on dragon this time? I’m thinking of buying 🐃✨Taurian ✨🐃 but hate to use so much stardust in case they pop another dragon in at the last minute!

This looks to be the last dragon. Typically, when there’s an extra dragon, there’s a double release. If there was another one, Deca would need to release it by Tuesday, so players have a week to breed it. To be on the extremely safe side, you could wait until Tuesday to buy Taurian. Who knows, you might be able to breed it by then. G’luck!
