Hello all, I have been playing since june, and I have a quick question. Is it a better idea when attempting to get a rare dragon, to keep breeding the same 2 dragons together, or would it be a better idea to get rid of those dragons if they do not work after lets say 10-20 trys, get 2 new dragons of the same breeds and work with them. I'm having a hard time putting this into words, haha.
firefly & storm 10-20 times = nothing breed a new firefly and storm firefly (n) & storm (n) 10-20 = nothing breed a new firefly and storm............
or just keep with the same pair over and over? thanks.

People have reported koala hatching a new pair, but testing hasn't shown this to be a proven method.
In all honesty, I would spend your time using a correct parent duo and just keep at it until you are successful.

It makes absolutely no difference what so ever. It has been shown that any combo that can produce a particular rare/limited dragon has the same chance of making it as any other. You just need to keep repeating until you get it.
Hi! One of my goals is to hatch a bluefire dragon which is fire and cold. I have both but when i click on my fire dragon my cold dragon greys out and says they are not compatible ( or something to that effect) they are both adult level 7's. Anyone know what im doing wrong? Thanks much

Welcome.
The Bluefire is an opposite dragon and as you have discovered they can't be bred by the usual means. You need to breed a Fire Dragon with a Cold Hybrid, and we recommend Fire + Storm for the short fail times. You have about 10% chance of getting a Bluefire Dragon on the breeding island and about 6% in the cave.
I've probably missed it doing a TL;DR epic fail on my part, but when do the Olympic dragons expire? I only have 2 Silver, and I'd like to get Bronze and Gold before they disappear. Thank you!
GCID - Casere I'm 83% certain that I am 100% safe to be around other people.

They aren't limited You have all the time to keep trying for Gold.

Yeah and it's prolly gonna take that long for me to get a second gold. Sigh
Can't do any worse. I'll give it a try and let ya know.

In this particular context, we were talking about the Gold Olympus dragons, not the Gold/Silver Treasure dragons.
Yes, breeding treasure dragons gives a more even balance of offspring. The Olympus dragons almost always get you the lesser metal...
But do you think its worth it with the long silver fail? I've been debating, the first time I got a silver breeding gold and silver.... guess I could tie up one breeding area and see.
Hi guys, Found this forum a couple weeks back and been reading the tips - LOVING the quick breed/sell of Cacti for 100k The ipad is at my dads which is where i am at weekends only so i dont get to collect during the week (vair slow growing process/park). I was wondering if i could ask a favour? Im stuck on 119 gems and sooo want the EBI. Could anyone help out please? Not quite sure where to enter gcids, is that where it says "enter email or nickname" is? A little bit about my park: level 16, one habitat of each, and just summoned my third and gem islands today thanks to selling Cacti. my GCID is Angelsaffska (i think - thats who i get welcomed as on GC when i log in anyway). Look forward to hearing more from you guys, you all sound fab from what i've read (giggled at the manure jokes too). Saffy x
