Thanks for the positive remarks Pixie. I'm big on the butterfly effect myself. I assume you're referring the the hab alone on the right? I have it there because I had planned on adding a 4th which would have both sides the same.
I actually didn't plan to add any story because only the logical side on my brain works. I'm not very creative. When I started describing what was there it just flowed out. I didn't plan the islands for any story but they just naturally lent themselves well to it - I think....
I'm glad you think I'll fit in. I never even seen this site until the other day doing a google search on breeding the new smoke dragon. I like the site so far. I saw there's a thread for asking combo recommendations. Would be nice to see a sticky combining them. For example, such and such combo is the best to breed for seasonal bc it also gives a chance for an Olympic (2 birds with one stone). Have a neat place with such combos in one spot so you don't have to read a book to find what you want. Just a thought
You are very welcome. Nice how sometimes the right words just find their way to you.
No need to wade through the Myke and Fletch will help you breed those Dragons! . Just post what dragons you still need and someone will let you know your options for breeding for more than one needed at the time. Much luck to you.
Loved it, Cobus. Have some specific comments I want to make when I get a sec. They look great, though. P.S. thank you for your service to your country.

You're welcome for the service. I love what I do (which have a lot of people questioning my sanity). Unfortunately it's all coming to an end for me after almost 12 years. My last tour in Afghanistan resulted in me taking 3 IED (roadside bomb) hits that has caused several physical injuries and a stroke (luckily minor). I'm currently awaiting a medical retirement.

Sorry to hear about your injuries Cobus. Make sure you fully utilize your veteran benefits after you retire. If you have disabilities resulting from your service, the Va will pay for medical treatment and equipment to make your life easier. The Va currently pays a one-time Auto Grant of $18,900 and will pay the full cost of any conversion to the vehicle for any loss of use. Not sure you would need any of that, but wanted to make sure you knew it existed in case. So many vets don't know.

Great islands, Cobus! They are very nice.
Thank you for your service, by the way. I hope dearly that you have a safe recovery. Once again thank you, that is a brave thing to do.
Corbus, what I like about the Drakon Park one is that it looks like it'd be a fun park to wander around. From the crystals lining the warp point, to the big dragon statue between the trees, and wandering through the egg displays, it just looks like there'd be something neat around every corner, as opposed to random and cluttered, you know?
I like all the suns on the Fire and Ice island, and somehow the dragon statue looks really cool next to the witch's castle, kind of like a gargoyle. I usually try to pair decorations with each other, and I hadn't spotted that combo.
On the Ice one, the story about the farmer who didn't want to sell was cute. I like to think of him sitting in his cottage all disgruntled because his farming plots never thaw enough to till.
I like the story of the Holy Circle island, too, how you adapted it to the colosseum. I like how the moons match the suns on the Fire island, too. I always think about symmetry on the same island, but not between islands.
The Treasure island is cool, with the way you matched the lightning habitats with the Race Track and the Seasonal and the Treasure. Somehow I'd never seen all those yellows together before, but they work. Then you throw in the gold pathway tiles, too. My competition island that I'm remodeling has the Colosseum and the Race Track, with the Olympus habitat and Treasure habitat, because Olympus obviously is involved with the Olympics and Greek/Roman mythology, and the Treasure dragons guard all the prize money.
The Genesis Square makes sense to have the hatchery as well as the farms on it, because it's about growing things, although I'm not sure anybody needs that many farms! I like the story about the air habitat, but what I like best about it is the air boost "shrine" you made, with the Plant and Air shrines and the flags and the crystals. It's a neat little square shrine setup and it works really well.
See, and you thought you weren't any kind of storyteller!
Haha thanks for all the kind comments Tommy. I'm not usually a sorry teller but it just kinda flowed. I never set out to have themed islands or anything. It all just kind of happened. I originally had the suns and moons on one island opposite each other but it became hard to keep it organized as I added so many. The air was put where it was to just spread it out and not have any conflicts with boosters but I think the colors work together and the story of the earth falling in while constructing a new plant hab seems plausible. After all, that's how they found the Valley of Kings in Egypt when a camel fell thru.
The main thing I tried to avoid was just useless clutter I've seen in so many parks. I would visit my level 40 friends and they'd have an island just covered in the animated fountains that came out and any empty space covered in gold tiles. It seems like they just tried to max their park value. I just try to keep things in balance and enjoy the game. I could care less about how I rank with my park value

I finished my 4 Seasons Island. I'm happy with the way Fall and Winter turned out, but Spring and Summer need some help to distinguish them. Any ideas?

Hi Maidy,
I think it might help if you moved Summer down, and moved Fall up. With the existing decorations, I don't know how you could better distinguish the two, and it's OK that the differences are subtle. But separating Spring and Summer might help the eye.

That's a good idea Myke. I was going in order of the seasons, but it doesn't have to be that way and maybe separating them will actually help the eye distinguish the difference. Thanks!

I neglected to compliment you on your great design, Maidy. Winter and Fall look great. But I like Summer and Spring the most because the differences are harder to see, and once you see them, easier to appreciate.
