Maybe it should kind of be a rule that the bombee acknowledges that he/she is being bombed and that he/she agrees to daily updates?
I think it's good for the nominee to know that he/she is being bombed, but don't think that it is absolutely neseccary for them to constantly update on their progress, even though it is extremely helpful. I know I purposely skipped a day of updating because some confusion had taken place when the bombing was called off soon after. I do think that a nominee should reply with their goal being accomplished though, in order for the bombings to continue onward.
Hmmm..... I have a suggestion. For Gem Bombings in which the bombee has a broad goal to accomplish (ie. Basic support), could there be like "#day(s) bombs"? (Sorry, explaining this is a bit confusing). Now, I completely understand how important it is for a player to achieve their goal in DV, but this system can be used for a more diverse set of bombings as well. Small gem bombings can be used like a "2/3/4 day gem bomb" etc. and such to help players with their basic needs through gameplay. Regular gem bombs with goals can be executed the same as now, but smaller gem bombs can be more of a filler in these cases. Just a thought
Edit: The main problem that I find through this is the constant need of a gem bomb and the time and effort of its donors :/

I think everyone, especially new folks need gems for basic support. I would rather see the bombing as something special, to help someone in need to accomplish a goal. Ie increasing your HC so you don't have to dump your grind dragons. Or maybe in need of one of the dragons for a combo of a limited and time is running out. I don't want to just gem bomb as a routine.

Yeah, I did see this as a problem after I had posted it. I for one, also has to keep up with a gem list as well, so this is where I saw this problem arose. It is better for the nominee to have a set goal in mind, rather than just the refueling of a stash.

Did I close it before you accomplished your goal? Oh my, very sorry if that happened, really thought you said you finished. Would have been happy to reopen it for you.
Gems are sent to members who are nominated, sometimes it means sending friend requests if we aren't already friends. Stick around and participate and you may find yourself nominated.
Sorry I don't post in here much, but I keep checking and keep bombing those who are listed!!! You can always see my list on the Gem Exchange as to whom I have sent my (bombing) gems to!! 😉 Will hold out for the next recipient!!!
By the way...LiquidcOurage....what is your EXACT GCID?? Tried to send u friend requests 3 times now and it's not working!
Your bombings have been much appreciated
Liquid's GCID is liquid c0urage (the o in courage is a zero).
Edit: And there's also a space between liquid and c0urage
Thanks for the assist electronX. Sorry my GCID was a hassle April, but saw your request come through this morning and all is good now (meaning we're finally really friends, label and all).
As for all the discussion on the gem bombings - I think it works really well already. Sure there are some minor hiccups, but I like that it's up to the individuals to choose how they participate. Naturally we all love the updates, but I don't relly want to see anything forced. Plus, I like that occasionally we start a mission and actually accomplish a secondary mission on the same recipient because there are just so many generous members conducting bombing runs (I reLly am trying to tone down the pilot speak, but sorry that some of it still bleeds through). I also tink it's kinda fun when someone finally posts here saying they had no idea why they were getting so many friend requests and gems out of the blue (even if after a couple days).
For me, I use the "I hate the gem dragon of the month competition" as my filler. Meaning at I send daily gems to those on that list who are still in competition trying to breed the specific dragon. Maybe it's not the most beneficial method, but it does help involvement and several have commented on it making the difference for them in getting the gem dragon one month.

Denied!
There is definitely someone more in need of gems out there then me. I appreciate the sentiment, but please don't make me change my ways to avoid getting bombed... "don't make me angry, you wouldn't like me when I'm angry" ... "Hulk, SMASH!"

I like you just the way you are - but you could eat a sandwich.

Mmmmm sandwich!
-you honestly will never fully comprehend my affinity for all things sandwich ---(second only to my belief that ice cream is the most important food group and the base of the food pyramid)

Your avatar indicates you are able to ingest copious amounts of either.
There are 2 foods that make me swoon - 1. Fresh baked warm bread. 2. Fresh ice cream, home made, right out of the creamery. Better make that 3, strawberry/rhubarb pie.

Oh goodness, you two are making my mouth water. But I think you missed some things including slightly gooey brownies and chocolate chip cookies both fresh out of the oven. If you put the brownies with the ice cream, it only increases the flavor of both.
I love my vine dragon avatar created by ElektronX. Now, if only BFS would add it to the game...

Lets give usctrojan a gem bombing. She sounds so desperate and frustrated in still trying to get the Kairos dragon. I think we should help her. Gem will be sent when tree regenerates.
