Trying Lemmy's fun fact ..... Cobus - Have upped the text size, does that help?
Pixie Yes, if does look better. It's still really small as I'm typing this though. I wonder why this text would be smaller than that of completed posts? What I'm seeing right now is still very difficult but I can read y'all's posts fine
Text size should be consistent throughout the forum. I see no controls to change text size for individual element areas. Glad it did help some.
We are aware that some of the links, not just in the Forecast, are not connecting to the proper page/post. It is an unexpected result of the v5 upgrade. We are working to get them sorted as soon as we can. Thanks for the heads up.
Dear Pixie, lemmyloop and Bloodstone: Thank you for such quick responses and resolution! Lemmyloop, I love the fun fact and will try it out sometime (fair warning). on a completely different note, have you seen the forum username "notbloodstone"? It's probably old news to you guys, but it made me laugh... Thanks, again!
My GCID is Mario~1 (aka Stella~1). My DV Friend ID is Mario~1#1336 (aka Stella~1#2889).
Cobus : I don't know for sure, if it'll be the same for you on your phone bc I'm using an ipad. But you can change the default editor for posts under Profile -> modify profile -> settings You can set the "posting default" to "preview" instead of "BBCode". On my ipad the script size is then as big as the other posts, while it is very small when using BBCode. Hope this helps.

Good catch! Did not know the font size was different between the two on mobile devices. Hope this helps Cobus.
Have any emails been going out from the forums? I have not seen any in a month and I checked junk/spam. Previously all had gone to my inbox.
Thanks.
I sent an email recently about a soon forum software upgrade. That was maybe two weeks ago.
Thanks Myke, I've been reading my email acct these mails go to on my iPhone...and completely forgot I made a separate folder where all the DV Community items are auto directed after landing in my inbox. Of course on my iPhone I have to take an extra step to get there which I had forgotten about.
Mystery solved. Now if only I could remember the password so I could log that account on an actual computer.

Is there a way of adding a Next Page / Previous Page button to the bottom of the forum? Just curious. We had it in the previous software version.
Happy week, everyone
I'll look into it. I have a feeling this may involve delving into the actual forum code, and that's not quite my strong suit.
EDIT: Yes, this definitely involves finagling with code, so I'm going to have to do a bit of research. As a side note, the current pagination bar scrolls with the thread. As long as you are on a post, the pagination bar will be on the top of the screen. For desktop. I'll have to check for mobile.

myke Lemmy is right, the Next/Previous page buttons are located at the top of the screen and are frozen there so you will always see them, no matter where you are on the page. Very handy!
Bloodstone leave? Why would you ever need such a signal?

On my mobile app the previous and next buttons are at the bottom of my pages, and the pages to scroll through (numbered pages) are at the top. I hope this is helpful ! I also have my posts set so the most recent post is on the bottom.
Is it possible to change the font or format of the posts so that letters that go to the text-depth ( like g j p q ) are visible in full size too. If in the last line of a post is for exemple an "g", it is often cut so that it looks similar to an "a" You my have a look here

Don't worry Crumble, I can see it. Very strange. Only happens on some of the posts and apparently on some browsers. (Right now I'm iOS using chrome) don't know if this is something we have power over or if it's just the way the forum displays on certain browsers.
