My attempts for the Snowolys have given me so far : Smoke, Smoke, Smoke and Smoke.
sigh !
Seems my luck has run out.
On another note : I find the habitats with snow look very good.

In other news, I have one of the Light/Dark opposites, but the other will have to wait until after I have the new Olympus Dragons. Is the 32 hours related to something?

And will there be a new Valentines Day dragon? Or they are usually released before the earlier ones?

Haven't seen any sign of a new Valentine's dragon, but I'm still convinced there will be one. The new dragons come out after the older ones do.* There's still some time until the 14th, so I'd expect it early next week. Mon/Tues probably, since Thursday is going to be the quarterly gemstone.

*_{The only exception I've seen is Gift which was available starting only on a specific day}

Second try early this morning netted me a my first Snowy Oly - rushed it this afternoon and it's a Gold Snowy Oly yay - makes up for the sun & moon fails I got for my Amethyst goal attempts

I'm hoping there'll be a regular, non-Olympic version of the Olympus habitat that looks different from the version we've had up till now (that can be the Summer Olympics version), so that once the Winter Olympics are over, we'll get a new look that will be the default.

There've yet to be any new limited or epic dragons with the Light or Dark elements. Perhaps BFS is waiting to finish the current cycle of dragons (maybe with the new quarterly gemstone dragon?) before we get any of these new dragons.

Have 2 new oly's brewing, using Snow+Blazing. They are half done and itching to gem them out.

I know how you feel, I had to take the Bronze out early and get him in habitat and then speeded up the one in the EBI to see what it was -- a Silver- now to just get that gold and an egg. Really like the Silver egg. I have been using the same combo you have. Koala to all

Finally got my Amethyst. Still trying for the elusive Rose. I guess I'll double up on Rose for a bit, although there are so many new dragons to try for! It's going to be a busy year!

All these new dragons are just about making my eyes pop out! It's really hard sticking to my plan I getting rose then amethyst before I start on the new ones that will be around for a while! It's great after BEB thought things would be dull but this is great and I so want the snowy olys (note to self in Dragon Vale patience really is a virtue).

How does all these new draggins affect the calculations re displaying one or two of each dragon? Are there enough habitat spaces?

I can't access the game center server ! I wanted to log into my second account to give my daily gems and logged out of my first account but I could't log into my second. Get an error message about the connection to the game center server. So now I'm logged out and can't get in.
Therefor I can't play DV and I can't give gems.... Sorry for my gem partners.

Makes me think about abandonning the second account completely.
Which would mean that I can't send out 12 gems daily anymore.
But it's annoying to change the game center account forward and backward since IOS 7.

but now I have to get in first.
any ideas ?

You know, I had a week before BeB where I was all caught up on limiteds, and was able to try for Olys and opposites and Cyclops. I miss that.

I have gotten an Amethyst and Egg, second Love and egg, and Winter and egg... so perhaps I can return to collecting light and dark hybrids, and trying for these Snolys as soon as my breeding areas clear out.

How do the Snowy Olys compare earnings wise to the regular olys?
