I had a busy day at work yesterday so decided to wait until the evening before making the decision- got a mirage after dinner. Now waiting for it to hatch so I can try for sunstruck tonight. Still trying for a second mirage too... Really hope I get lucky with sunstruck.

HELP!!! I am rather impatiently waiting for my Mirage to hatch. So, still trying to breed for opposites, I bred a Earth and a Miasma. My breeding time (which is the 20% reduced) is 17hrs 35 minutes. WHAT IS IT?? I cannot find anything with that combo that breeds that long. In fact, one of its appeals, is 12:35:00 is the Dodo and longest - while I am waiting the 13 something for Mirage. Anyone ever have this happen??? Thank you,

Are you certain you bred an Earth and Miasma? According to this thread it's either a Scoria or Arctic (Kites expired).

Still no leaf egg, and I just got ANOTHER SUMMER, so I'm gonna revise my question from earlier:

We DO know that you can always breed a limited if it's one of the parents, but is it potentially MORE LIKELY to breed the non-expired parent? Would I be better off if I bred leaf+winter or leaf+fall, even though the fail times aren't quite as generous? Or do we know for a fact that the odds are not shifted towards the available parent?

No, the odds do not favor an available dragon. The only things that will change breeding chances are high level dragons, breeding island, and using two of the same parents.

My lucky day! I just got Daydream at the 30th try. That is after 9 Miasma, 8 Hypnotic, 7 Wind, and 5 Howl.

My lucky day, too. After putting my second Sunstruck in the nursery, I pressed retry , and now number 3 is incubating.
So all in all I had 6 tries which resulted in 3 Sunstrucks !
And to top this, in the cave now my 3rd Geode is incubating.
When all these are incubated and hatched, the only dragon I miss is a third Dream ( for the egg)

Good to pass on both parents do not have to be high level for better odds, one will do.

I am thinking that Sunstruck Dragon will expire with Summer Dragon. Under the social tab, the Sunstruck Dragon is described as "Shining down on parks this summer". But Summer Dragon will probably be around until the end of September; it's unlikely that a time-limited dragon would be available for that long? Of course, I wouldn't complain (not until it becomes a fail for other dragons anyway! ).

And if so, which one ?
I find it very difficult, because I have so many dragons that I like much.
Maybe adult Panlong, baby Platinum, adult Century and juvenile Mud - but there are so many more....

Kairos, Apoc, Paper, Liberty, Panlong and at least another dozen, but I'm sure as compulsive as I can be, I would continue to attempt to collect them all to display in my game room.

I think I'd find it very hard to start collecting DV figurines. But once I start, it'd be very hard to stop.

You can easily make a DV t-shirt yourself (you need a color inkjet though)

Buy a t-shirt and wash it
Create a picture on your PC with the DV characters, you can get the pictures out of the wiki
Buy a foil that you can print on and which can be fused on the t-shirt
Print the picture
Fuse it on the t-shirt
And voila

I've done this for my daughter with pictures of her guinea pig.
The foil sticks well to the shirt, even after several turns of washing.

I already chewed over making a DV t-shirt...
But when should I wear it ?
My family already thinks that I'm crazy, and a 46 year old wearing stuff like this at work ....?!

Sigh. I have a feeling I'm going to miss out on Sunstruck. I'm still trying to get a Peridot before it expires, and the koalas are scarce. I also will still need to breed a mirage before I can even try, and have had no luck with that either. With less than a day to try, both sites are busy with cactus and crystal... Who clearly are not "getting busy"
