I wonder what this chance for gifts means in the update notes?
It means, if you are on their good boy/girl list, they might send you a holiday gift.
... So sorry, Bliss.
That really cut deep. At least I will be in good company, though.
Congrats to everyone who got their lunar eclipse dragons and reindeers. Apropos to the above quote, I had too many reindeer and an extra lunar eclipse and had to make a dragon soup out of them. Should feed all the dragons for a special holiday meal! I'll list it on the meny as Secret Surprise Soup and maybe Fun Fillet.
BTW I tried Reindeer + Plant about 50 times with nothing but Lichen so I am going back to Plant + Lichen which is what I got the first one with.
It took me forever to get the second Reindeer. Just keep plugging away. I even tried Evergreen and Reindeer but that still netted a lichen. That fungus is a prolific little bugger.

I hatched a Reindeer, and as is my custom, I raised it to level 15. However, I forgot that this dragon would turn my Plant Shrine Gold... and I accidentallly raised it to 16. You think I would have learned from the Paper incident. Goodness.
At least I hadn't grown the rest of my food for today. I might have taken this guy to 17.

Finally I have excellent news! The shrine grind is complete. Courtesy of reindeer dragons. Yippeeee. Now trying to concentrate on the missing display eggs. I managed to get my gold Olympus pair courtesy of the Sakura sonic combo gained from here. Thank you. Breeding for the display now along with panlong for display. They'll be finished nicely before the December gem arrives. ;-) Keep on breeding folks :-)
I only have the Metal shrine to complete (14 dragons) and my shrines will all be gold. Still breeding madly for Reindeer, but I have sold a multitude of Lichen.
Lol Bliss, I laugh every single time i see those congo rats
HAHA that's adorable! Conga rats, Fletch. You're an inspiration for me as I alternately churn out Panlongs n papers and scoop up DC to feed em in the Grind.
Thanks for the info managed to get another reindeer now on to breed a herd and get a gold shrine at the same time, they give you a good bang for the buck!
Haha that reminds me of a koala teddy i had when i was younger, kind of a hand puppet too. Think it's up in the attic, might have to find him for a photo. He also starred in Men At Work's Land Down Under music video, well a cousin of his anyway which is pretty cool.
BOT, i got a reindeer breeding with cold and plant in my cave
Dragon lover they're so cute! How to train your dragon - Toothless <3
Do you think they will have a Winter Solstice dragon? With all the Mayan calendar hoopla and "end of the world" some hmmm, people believe in, I am expecting a new dragon. Winter Soltice is December 21 so hopefully soon if they are going to do it.
I don't recall any Christmas decorations from last year, were there any? It seems if we can have Halloween decorations there should be some for Christmas. I am hoping. Maybe I will ask Santa ;-).
Rejoice with me, my friends! Rejoice, I say! For my whining, groaning and incessant complaining has reached the ears of the Dragon Gods themselves, and they have seen fit to bestow upon me a Sandstorm dragon! The many hours I have spent in turmoil and agony searching for an opposite dragon have been rewarded at last! Long may the blessings of the Dragon Gods continue, not just for myself, but for those who toil with me on this journey to Dragon Nirvana.

They should be bringing back the Solstice dragon next month, but it won't be a new dragon for winter. From the description of the Solstice dragon: Twice each year, near the longest and shortest days of the year, the Solstice Dragons come out of hiding. Their arrival - along with lighting of the Sun Stones of Surya - signals the beginning of grand festivals throughout much of the land. Because it has two heads, one favoring summer, the other winter, the Solstice Dragon is nearly always of two minds on any issue. Despite this conflict, most dragon experts take solace in the idea that two heads are better than one..
