So! Like many I've been working on the ~*Shrine Grind*~ But I have the obsessive need to know my exact progress at any given moment. I also need the ability to easily change my plan to account for new dragons, as I like to raise a pair up to level 15.
I present... THE LEMMY SHRINE TRACKER!
Actually I'm kind of embarrassed by all the time I spent in Excel getting it to work. There's all kinds of little formulas, data validations, and conditional formattings in this. And yes, if you click the button it adds in a new row, so I can add a new dragon.
Well done Lemmy! That is really cool, and the colors are pretty, too. Ooooooh - aaaaaaaaah.
I did not just get another LE breeding on my EBI after putting the air and mountain back in when they were "done" with their first 48 hrs... Okay, maybe I did. i was like *shakes head in bewilderment* ... Am I imagining what I'm seeing?! Eeep!
I've seen here several times that you have to breed a moon 7pm-7am. There is obviously far more knowledge here than I have but I've read several times that its a myth. Also I have several moons and I've bred them during the day

Cobus -- are you saying you started breeding cold+lightning (or hybrids of same) while the clock on your device had a time between 7am and 7pm and got a moon? How certain are you of that? I know the time trick seemed to work for me to get a moon instead of a second sun.
No one is saying you can't get moon dragons from breeding moon + moon/blue moon/equinox/eclipse during the day, just that we think that cold+lightning is locked in to only give Sun from 7am-7pm and Moon from 7pm-7am.
All my moons that I hatched (4) came from breeding elements. The second two were accidents.
Was this recently or back when the game started? I've bred more than 100 Sun/Moons and every Sun was conceived between 7am and 7pm and vice versa for the Moons.
Though I recently found a thread that suggested whether your iDevice is on 12/12 hour time or 24 hour time might mess with this process. So info on that would be good to know as well.

The best I can narrow down the time is to pre-September. The only reason I know the much is bc that's when I went into the hospital and missed out on the paper dragon, blue moon, and all the items that accompanied them.
My iDevice is set on a 12hr clock
I've seen your theory discussed several times on the wiki and everyone of known merit debunked it.

What do you mean by everyone of known merit? And what do you mean by debunk?
The thread at the Wiki Forum where we started talking and testing all kinds of breeding theories back in March can be read at w11.zetaboards.com/dragonvale/topic/7679103/4/ This links to Page 4 where we start talking about the Sun/Moon stuff, and people start posting their results. Since then, as I have said, I have bred over 100 Sun/Moon dragons, and they have all fit into the "Device Time affects Sun/Moon result" theory. The chances of that happening are extraordinarily slim if it really makes no difference.

You must be talking about the chat pages throughout the pages of wiki and not the actual forum? I've never known this theory to be debunked....
Congrats everyone on all your success!!! I have tried to somewhat keep up but have not had time to post much. Just when we were almost done with decorating I ended up getting the grandkids sickness. As Myke suggested to me I'm probably so worn down from going non stop for weeks on end. Just my luck. lol The good thing is I have no choice but to take it easy so I actually may be able to score December gemstone early. Crossing my fingers anyways. Much luck to all!!!

Interesting comment, as Fletch is most certainly included in the people of known merit over at the Wiki.
Fletch has been around forever and is always willing to test, and retest....and retest any time there is a question. Am certain he would be willing to check to see if anything might have changed with all the new sun/moon related new dragons, cause he's just that kind of guy. If you knew him better, you would know that comment really wasn't needed.
Waiting for my second reindeer to finish breeding so i can breed breed breed a collection of Rudolph's friends. Yes my first is called Rudolph and I'm naming the others Donner, Blitzen etc.
