Sweet! That's going to look cool as an uncleared island for a while. Might have to borrow Tommys idea of a cave and a swimming hole as the only decorations.
You can also add a few more trees & rocks. For a while I had a wilderness island which I completely cleared during an event, then rebuilt it even more densely afterwards. I will add #12 as part of my end game and leave it untouched.
So far I have worked through Rainbow, Earth, Air, Fire, Lightning and Plant. I was missing one or two L1 dragons for each element and am rectifying that as quickly as I can. Bloom is proving problematic though as it has Sun/Moon as a fail. Sigh.
I am not sure I will have enough HC slots for my Rainbow army though - I still have an entire island of them. Not sure I will be able to bear to sell them. Still thinking. I am going to have to sell all my spare Blooms and Panlongs as it is.

I think they are playing it smart by choosing T-Shirts to be their first physical item of merchandise.
Compared to other merchandise items it costs less money and would reach more demographics since almost everyone wears shirts whether it be over or under something or placed on a wall in a frame.
Maybe if this works out more merchandise will come in the future.
I'm hoping for a coffee mug - I'd like to have both my addictions together at the same time.....
I would like to have a scarf with all dragons on it, really colorful. Or plushies But a mug is a good idea too
And the best would be if there would be little figurines like from the company "Schleich". I don't know if they are as famous in USA as here in Germany, but here a lot of kids play with animals from them. My little daughter has over hundred of them and really played much with them. Would be fun (but maybe also expensive) to complete a "real" collection.

I would love to collect figurines or plushies - that would be awesome!
On a side note, threw in Moonstruck and Ragnarok on my EBI - second Moonstruck on the way!

As Lady Redwolf said, plushies would be great! And they need to come out with one of those Play-doh machines that can punch out dragon body parts- scales, wings, etc. Have you ever Googled DragonVale and just looked at the images. Some very creative people out there. The DragonVale creations on Deviantart are not to be missed!

Schleich figures are available here too. larger varieties available at Toys R Us and independent toy stores. Smaller at places like Target.
Just a reminder. Aquamarine is back. Combo is River and Iceberg

Finally got my Sunstruck and Seed eggs (for pedestal display) incubating. I'm now only missing the Gourd pedestal; too bad I only managed to get one when it was in season.
My vote for that goes to your Teddy Hermann (GmbH). For the feel that goes "plop". Or there's another Italian company that makes them realistic, but cuddly-comfortable. Anyway, there's an architectural style to the good ones. I don't quite like them the massive-plump some toymakers seem to prefer.
Something memorable I saw was an almost life-size baby camel at Kuwait airport. It was designed as a comfortable headrest between humps, but sadly took up too much space for the rest of passenger comfort Pity this kind of collecting puts them in your way only once.

Happy March 2nd all, may all your goals be reached. I wanted to share this with my DV friends (not bragging, just proud), I have finally accomplished another of my goals- 100 million in food - might not seem like much to some of you but have all dragons possible in park to LV17, 18, 19 or crowned and about to spend the majority of this food crowning many more but it took quite a while to build this with also trying to get over 8 billion in DC so could purchase the new island (I was guessing it would cost 4 bil) so still have 5 bill for any need exp and more food. All dragons are fat and happy so they are getting a little more exercise-especially those named after the 30 of you from my long ago contest (they really like when their namesakes visit). Thank you for letting me share and being such a supportive and terrific community. Koala to all

I decided to check out the Schleich website and discovered something interesting. Schleich has filed dragons not under their 'World of Fantasy' section, nope, you will find dragons under 'World of History'! So there you have it folks, dragons were real and an historical fact. I read it on the Internet so it must be true! www.schleich-s.com/en/US/toys/world_of_history/

Well, I don't know. In Art History I used to wonder about certain Middle Eastern pictures of lions. I thought they'd never seen a lion in their lives, but it turned out there used to be lions there that didn't look like the African ones we know.
Then there was the case of leopards in Crete. That was another hard one to believe, but they found the bones.
On a trip to Hong Kong we were shown the breakwater. It kept sharks away, said the guide. There are sharks here? Everyone wanted to know, but the guide laughed it off. "We ate them all".
Now, THAT really got me to thinking about the Chinese dragons.

I've replied to this over at Off Topic to keep this thread for Dragonvale talk.

I looked but didn't see any thread anywhere that said Off Topic but there shouldn't be any doubt that dragons were real creatures. Too many first hand accounts of them and they appear in just about every culture world wide. They've just been hunted to extinction long ago and now they're only the stuff of legends. Now I might believe a Panlong dragon but I kinda doubt there were any Sakura, Double Rainbow, ...
