Like this post if you remember the original mods who are no longer regular contributors, 250Strong, Phibes74 and GT500Girl (the latter is still number 5 most prolific poster, though she hasn't visited here since this time last year).
You bet, sure do miss the girls. Didn't really get to know 250, but know he did a ton of work putting the original Rare Dragon thread together.

Everyone I was just humbled by you all....I was clearing and returning gems...... I ran out of my 6 and still have 12 to pay back..... WOW..... I have no words...
Well I'm hoping your not getting the glitch many of us just went through. My parks are working finally ....touch wood !
I guess I must be. I was in my park several times yesterday but then late in the evening it stopped opening and hangs on the DV screen. Still doing that today. Sigh. I read about your park issue and it must be the same issue. I can't open my park on my phone either so it isn't my device. I bet it has something to do with the coop breeding. I wonder if it has to do with the twin eggs? I'm showering Pixie as are a few other people. I wonder if you get more than one set before the receiver has a chance to accept them it creates a backlog and is locking up the parks. Hmmmmmm.....

So I was locked out of my parks for almost 5 full days and Backflip has offered me 50 gems. Seriously WTF....I would have earned more if I was able to login to my parks. 50 gems is an insult to injury. Another reason why I will never give Backflip another penny.

Not intending tp be contrary, just curious what you would have considered just compensation, or spectacular compensation?

Well considering how many days I was locked out due to their screw up I would think 50 gems per day would be a good start. How many dragons did I miss out on and I would have recieved almost 50 gems over that time frame from normal game play.
I emailed them back and told them they can keep their 50 gems and stop wasting my time.

Notice you post with the same ugly mug as before.....
Welcome back Techno! I never left the game, but left the forum for a bit, then lurked. I'm back to all as well. I can't ever delete the game. It means a lot to me. Through this silly little game, I found this forum. Through this forum I met some really wonderful people. I have a beautiful little purse that Fletch's wife made, which I treasure. Through Cyn, I heard about a different game that I played for a while. TCO also played both games and she formed a FB messenger group to discuss the games. Well, now TCO is a dear friend that I speak to daily. She used to be very active on DV and this forum. She doesn't play anymore, but I'm so happy to still chat with her every day. I dropped off this forum because my youngest daughter was diagnosed two years ago with severe OCD, ADHD and GAD. I didn't have a lot of time for playing and chatting so much anymore because her therapy and recovery took so much time. But I did come in and read from time to time. It was comforting to see all the familiar faces in here. And the friendship with TCO, (Terri Cole) and a few others that she introduced me to was such a help and blessing during a difficult time. I'm happy to say that my daughter is doing very well now and is graduating this week from High School with honors, has a job, and was accepted into the Honor's Program at the college of her choice. So now I have more time for this forum and playing with my DV. It is nice to see others such as yourself coming back. My point in telling all this is that you never know how something so simple as a game and a community of people who gather to discuss something they enjoy can affect the lives of people. It has affected mine and been such a joy and a comfort that I will always cherish it.
Oh, I'm so happy to hear about your daughter's success! My daughter, currently a freshman in high school, is struggling with OCD and GAD, and we've recently received a diagnosis of autonomic dysfunction (which seems to have been the physical trigger for her OCD and GAD). Every day is a struggle right now, but she's an extremely bright student with a strong work ethic, who is still on the Honor Roll. Hearing stories like yours gives me hope, and I'm once again amazed at what a "small world" this community is.
GCID- peanutzmom:) And yes, you need to include the smiley face
I give gems randomly to those who seem to need them because I'm not organized enough to keep a list, but I'm always looking for more Party Hat friends!
Yesterday and again this morning I had friend requests pop up on my computer, but as I went to click 'Accept', the screen disappeared and I didn't even have time to catch the name of the person - who will now be thinking I have rejected them.
I think the name of one was perhaps 'Sorella', so I sent a friend request back.
If anyone else has sent a request which has been unanswered, please send it again, and before I do anything I'll write the name down with a real pencil on a real piece of paper so I can follow it up from this end.

Hi peanutz!
I'm sorry to hear about your daughter. It's so hard to watch your child suffer and struggle. Freshman year was when it all began for my daughter too. Her older sister moving out and going to college was her trigger. Anyway, there is hope and I'm sure your daughter will get through this. If you ever ever need someone to vent to, listen or compare stories with, feel free to pm me in here so we don't hijack this thread. I'm also the support person for my neighbor who struggles with OCD as well and learned that talking with other support people really helped me. :-)

Finally bred my Berry pedestal from Berry + Snowflake. So that's all I can do from my park. Busy breeding for Twin Emerald in the Co-op Cave, so will just have to wait for a BeB to catch up on the others.
