BTW....how many Midday dragons are there? I'm kinda confused. Thot there was only one, but from some chats I've read, here and other forums, there are more....
There's just one... the one that's available for tickets in the tent. If people are talking about a second (third) Midday, they just mean multiples of the same one.
EDIT: oops.... rookie mistake, not noticing there was another page!

What Snowflake combos can also get me a Blue Moon? I have a goal to clear, apparently.
Looks like you'll need Snowflake 2 in the mix, according to the Sandbox. That alone seems to provide the required elements for Blue Moon.
Will it be necessary to change the park to night for Blue Moon? Sorry, I'm still confused on this... I thought it was said you don't need to for cloning, but if you breed Snowflake + Snowflake (which I think is cloning), is a Blue Moon fail going to happen on a daytime setting?
What about if breeding with Storm and Firefly for Blue Moon... Night time setting needed there?
Presumably wouldn't hurt as a belt and braces approach for any of the breeding attempts?
This doesn't help Fletch with snowflakes, but for those who need blue moon, I bred 4 blue moons over several days trying for Bloom in the BEB. The combo that I was using was flower and storm.
I noticed that it is recommended to use higher level dragons to increase chances of breeding specialty dragons (gemstone, epic etc). Those of us at lower levels don't have as many treats to play with so can some of you more experienced players recommend which dragons we should focus on upgrading that will give us the most bang for our buck when breeding?

I'd focus on upgrading the dragons you need or what you are currently breeding. And keeping at least one dragon for each element as high as you can for the Colisseum. It was only at the end of the last event (so April-ish? when the Galaxy dragons came out) that I finally got to stop struggling for food in my baby park. I was lvl 58 or 59 at the time.
Colisseum dragons there are: Shadow for Light/Dark, Paper for Earth/Fire/Plant (bred last year at Anniversary time I think. Or maybe BEB?), Current for Lightning/Water, Meteor for Metal. (Bearded and kite also work if you have them), Leathery for Cold/Lightning (maybe before I got current)?
When I name a dragon I put the letters in the name to remind myself it is a Colisseum dragon. Bicentennial is my Air Dragon.
In a signature around here somewhere is a Excel file that you can sort to see which dragons are the best earners in each category. I used that and figured out which of the top dragons they listed I had and, sometimes (when the numbers were close) which I already had fed up for other reasons.

Clicking on the award icon of the colosseum shows you which dragon earned you gold for which element. I allways use the same ones since years, allways get gold.

You are very very lucky. I always use the same ones, always at lvl 20, but still very occasionally get silver in my maxxed out park.

There is a trick ... I give my dragons swiss chocolate ... They reward me with gold. Maybe i should try that trick with my banker

I would like to second this. As a newish player to the game, this has literally been the most helpful page to me; I have it bookmarked and favorited on my internet browser I have visited it so many times! Invaluable really for newish players going through our first year of the game, and very much appreciated!
