That's because the majority of September IS summer. Season changes near the end of the month. Same as December classes as fall, though most people feel like winter starts in November 😊

I got my GCSE results today, and I got a 9 in Maths! I'm so pleased! (A new numerical grading system has been introduced this year in England for English and Maths; a 9 is the best grade you can get. It's even higher than an A*!) I also got an A* for Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Philosophy & Ethics, which is good since I'm going to be taking those at A level. I also got an A* in Geography. I'm so happy!

Congratulations, those are some top class grades! Going through the system currently too, so I know the struggle Are you taking philosophy A level? If so, it's great!! You have a lot to look forward to! I hope everyone who received any exam results got the grades they were hoping for jv

This is a bit random, but I want to warn everyone not to buy anything from a website called Candle & Scent. It looks like a legitimate website selling candles for a cheap price, but it's actually a scam site which is trying to get your credit card details. What it does is when you place an order, it asks for your credit card details like any other company. it then pretends this hasn't worked, and asks you to try a different credit card, so it can collect the details for every credit card you own. My mum was taken in by this today, but was alerted when she received no confirmation email, and found the transaction hadn't worked. After trying three more cards and having none of them work, she then looked up the website to see if anyone else had had a similar problem, and found out that it was a scam. She's now had to cancel four of her credit cards, though thankfully she caught it before any money was stolen from her. I want to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else, so please be careful with all your personal details, and if possible don't order anything from websites you don't trust. I'm sorry if this seems a bit off-topic and random- I just want everyone to stay safe. Take care, all of you. ❤️

Thanks wildcatgirl, and I feel for your mum, even tho she didn't lose money, the HASSLE of getting new cards etc etc, arrghhAnd actually it can happen on so called safe sites: I was scammed from Apple, for some serious tech, and again through PayPal!! Luckily all money returned, well, my bank got it back and didn't penalise me. That's just somehow gathered from web purchases, even if you use secure sites and do not give credit card details out...it's why if you can prove you've been a safe card holder, the banks now cover you. I changed banks however, as both happened with the one bank and to my mind their security may have been implicated. I also delete all credit card details after purchases on Amazon and similar; and only use iTunes pre pays now with Apple.

I have only ever used itunes cards with Apple. Never quite trusted putting my credit card out there.

Hi leah1316 and a warm welcome! Unfortunately at the moment the only way BFS have for us to link to friends for gem sharing and park sharing for coop breeding and party hat DC collecting, is to link using Facebook. If you check out our Home page lists of threads, you'll find one for this purpose, just post there.
Please feel free to add to the pressure on BFS to develop an in-game friending mechanism which does not rely on FB which so many valers do NOT want to use, by emailing them from within the game.
Browse our threads, ask questions, help out by posting things you discover... And much good fortune to you with your park 🐨🐨🐨

This tattoo artist dad colorizes his childrens' artwork. When he has to travel they draw him a picture and he colorizes it while he is away. Very cool!

When I was in donating blood on Monday a man who had never donated before told me he is the uncle of one of the young men who was shot and wounded. He was shot in the arm and they are still evaluating the damage. He wanted to do something so he was there giving blood. Northern California blood banks immediately sent over most of what we had to Las Vegas and will be sending much more. Many victims will need multiple surgeries. My little community usually has about 100 donors come out for a blood drive every two months. As luck would have it Monday, Oct 2nd, was our normal blood drive day. This Monday we hit over 100 donors by 2pm and the blood mobiles were still there after 7pm because so many came to donate, many first timers. As awful as this act of insanity is it renews my faith in mankind to see the generosity of so many.
