Hello...I apologize in advance if I’m posting in an incorrect location, but it’s been awhile; I was last here in about 2013 I believe!

Picked my DV game back up a few days ago and thought about this forum...just wondering if anyone was still here that remembered me (sorry, I was crazy) and wanted to say hello if anyone is still out there!! Looks like a lot of people are inactive now though...but thought I’d give this a shot if not don’t mind me...just passing through...

Heheh, just spent a few minutes watching my Rfireflight try to get into the air; had never seen one on the ground before. Rubbing its nose with its ?ears seems to be necessary to reroute flame to its clasped ‘balloon’... tried over and over, with wee pauses for a sigh, then walked to somewhere different and tried again, somersaulted, fail, tried again...
quite the visual metaphor for breeding event dragons, I thought 😈

Yeah great, people are so bored with this event that they are hallucinating 😈
Wish I were though, trying to have fun dressing these couple of dragons I have.
They do look stunning in their dress robes though, all ready for the Jule ball.

oh my goodness...how are you?  I was in London this past July and wondered about you.  Thinking that you must be off to college now? And you are doing really great in school, and in life in general. The forum is thriving which is always so nice to see, many thanks to  Admins, Mods, and dedicated DV friends/players.  I check here often for hints and tips.  DV has evolved quite a bit, new contents, and dragons; I shamely admit I am lost in the game.  I do participate in all events, love love those dragons and everything about them.  Maybe you could pick it up again, just for the summer when you are least busy.  The forum could use more noise from you though only for a short while.  Me

Hello right back at you! I hope you're well - it's been a while.
I hope you weren't in London last week, we were hitting record temperatures... Sweltering, and particularly unpleasant on the underground, of course.

Indeed, school feels like it was an eternity ago and I've finished my first year at university now - oh how time flies.

Glad to hear that the forum continues to thrive and that you're back in the game! Being lost is not shameful - and often it brings back the magic - there's nothing quite like admitting an egg you don't recognise to the nursery and then rushing online to look it up! Especially if you run online here. I wonder how many members we gained for that reason alone? Also, of course, for friends - how does the new friend system work?

Sadly I have no more desire for DragonVale but I might have a nostalgic amble through my old park for old time's sake - I'll have to figure out how to launch it up again! I wonder if I can even remember the relevant details... That said, I do intend to hang around on the forum and remain as involved as possible for at least a couple weeks.

At the moment I don't feel like decorating my park.
When I stopped playing DV 3 years ago I felt a big urge to leave it all in best conditions. I decorated like hell, made pictures and a video.
This time I don't want to do it. If they shut down the game completely I won't be able to look at my well decorated park again. And if DV runs on (without new contents) I'll have lots of time to decorate then.

My husband and I started playing DV in Fall 2011. Our four year old loved the dragons. At Christmas he was working hard to breed a pan long dragon. He finally bred one. He was so proud that he showed everyone at the bowling league his new dragon. He then let a child hold our iPad to see the dragon. The child hit one too many buttons and sold it. My baby was heartbroken.

Hello, to any of you who still remember the "Lind" family. I am not sure how many of our old friends are playing after 3 years of being gone. About 2 weeks ago, I decided to return to DV for a short while to update my "Family Tree" island. I needed to change my Sprout dragons to reflect my newest grandchild. While waiting for my Sprout to finish in the Fountain of Youth, I decided to play for a little while. Then when Dolilind and Kydolind came back in, it was harder to stop, but I still only expected to play for a few weeks, just to see what I could get during the event. When I told Wapatango about it, she came back also, but only for a short time. What a shock, when I finally had a little time to read the forum, to learn that it will probably only be a short time, because Backflip itself is shutting down. I have enjoyed playing the last couple of weeks, even though the first couple of days I managed to get a Seasonal, 2 Moon, and everyone's favorite a Crystal. I have also bred a DR in the short time I have been back. But there have also been successes, like a Sprite and Eldrich (thanks Echo1217). Anyway, I just wanted to say "Hi" to old friends. We have missed all our forum friends.
