Hope everyone who celebrates it has a happy Thanksgiving. 🦃
I've still got some work to do to get ready. I find it's better to cook the pies the day before, because it's faster to reheat them the next day so they can be served right after dinner. 😊
The turkey has thawed out pretty well, and aside from the lack of celery I'd say things are looking good.
We share our physical lives with those in spirit. For life, like love, never dies. Love knows no limits, not even death.
My husband's the cook in the family, (thank God one of us is....I burn jello). He accidentally cook the turkey upside down his first thanksgiving run. Turned out awesome!!! Now he does the same every year. Does anyone else do it that way??

To All of DragonVale, This time of year gets busy and goes by so fast I wanted to put this out now. Thank you to everyone for your help, support, laughter and tears. It has be an incredible experience all the way around. The game could be frustrating at times but it was fun and I looked forward to it each day. Thank you to all who did so much both behind the scenes in everything from the sandbox, up dates, answering questions and so much more. Thank you to Quil, amos, Kiwichris, Crumble, rion, adlerist and THE WONDERFUL Cyn, WITHOUT WHOM NONE OF US MODS WOULD BE HERE 😊🌻🐲anyone I may have missed. I wish everyone a good 2020 and beyond. It's been an amazing journey with fantastic people. It will be hard to find anything that even comes close to all of this. Looks like I will have time to start working on the large library I have built in my fire. Thanks for the grand time and all the memories.😀💖 If you celebrate Christmas then Merry Christmas...if you celebrate Hanukkah..Happy Hanukkah if you celebrate Kwanzaa...Happy Kwanzaa...or what ever you celebrate.😀

We do every year. The turkey is juicier. It evens the cooking time between the breast and dark meat. I just wish the breast wouldn’t flatten under the weight

The reports we have heard say up to 30% of the Koalas population is gone.😢😥 Many everyone and everything in that part of the world get lots of prayers and HELP. Hopefully some Devine intervention to put the fire out. Heard that 18 have lost their lives and countless animals as well.😟😢
If anyone is wondering how to help, there’s a GoFundMe for Port Macquarie Koala Hospital in NSW, a rescue hospital that's providing assistance to animals injured in the bushfire. Due to the devastating fires and its enormous impact on koalas, it has become Australia's most successful GoFundMe. But with no end to the crisis in sight, they’ll need all the help they can get.
I’ve seen too many videos of civilians and firefighters giving water to dehydrated koalas, and too many articles estimating thousands of koalas in peril or dead. It’s desperately sad. (I don’t want to link depressing news, google 'koalas bushfire' if you’re up for it.) Huge kudos to those who are housing koalas to keep them safe, or leaving out buckets of water for parched wildlife, or donating to Port Macquarie Koala Hospital.
Our mascot is in trouble. 🐨 💔
Edit: I should also add, if you want to help the great people of Australia instead of or in addition to koalas, you can give to NSW Rural Fire Service, Salvation Army, Australian Red Cross, St Vincent de Paul, and a GoFundMe for humans from the Lions Club. Sorry, didn’t mean to get so wrapped up with koalas. Lots of aid is needed everywhere.

I wanted to try for the pearlescent in the reef but didn’t have the right pair, or the right pairs to get the right pairs. 🤭 So, tried for lagoon, got it first try, yay! Then for light trait prism, first try, woohoo! So, how to get Starwing? Hmmmm... Took a chance and bought a galaxy mystery egg. Rigel! 😲 Sweet!! Need a glowwing to get a starwing, need a starwing to get a glowwing, oy 🤔 Splurging resumed on rift eggs : gildamane (nice, didn’t have that) glowwing (what?!) yes! Thank you BFS 😊🥳

She reached the age of 97 1/2 which is remarkable but not enviable. We shared Xmas all together for a few hours. We were all thankful for having had this last Xmas with her. RIP Marianne, we loved you and we will keep you in our hearts.
Today is a sad day for me and my family, my very old and fragile little Mom passed away. She was a great person allways thankful for all assistance we provided.
