Today is a sad day for me and my family, my very old and fragile little Mom passed away. She was a great person allways thankful for all assistance we provided. She reached the age of 97 1/2 which is remarkable but not enviable. We shared Xmas all together for a few hours. We were all thankful for having had this last Xmas with her. RIP Marianne, we loved you and we will keep you in our hearts.
I am deeply sorry for your loss. You have my love, thoughts and prayers, and I'm glad you were given the opportunity to spend Christmas with her. At least you had that and can remember the good times together.

Yesterday my mother passed away. She was 67 years old and had been battling lung cancer for 11 months. Originally they told us that she would only make it six months. I'm grateful that she was able to spend more time with us before her passing. She was such a wonderful person. An excellent mother, caring, compassionate and kind. She is loved by many, and she will be missed.

DragonMoonX , I’m so sorry about the passing of Mother😢. My own mom passed a few years ago, so I understand that even though you are somewhat prepared for the unimaginable. you can never truly be prepared at all. My comforting thoughts are with you and yours.

Dragon MoonX, I am sorry for your loss, I know the pain as it is not yet a month my Mom passed away. Loosing your Mom is loosing a part of your own life, your childhood is gone forever. But in your heart you keep the wonderful feeling you had to be secured and loved and all is ok. Your Mom is now, like mine, one of the stars shining in the night, telling you in a twinkle “ i am watching over you, I love you and one day we will be reunited “ I wish you strength in this difficult time. And from experience, administrations do not give you time to mourn and keep you busy in an ocean of paperwork. And remember, nobody can take away all the wonderful memories you have of your Mom, they are forever in your heart..
DragonMoonX I very sorry to hear of the passing of your Mom.💔🌹 The loss of the person who gave you life is something that stays with you the rest of your life. I am your Mom's age, a lung cancer survivor (left lung age 5) and my Mom has been gone 25 years this coming August. Still miss her. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

Thank you, everyone, for your kind words.
I set aside a spot in my park for her, decorating it with all the things my mother liked. She liked chocolate and daisies. She also liked anything watery, like rivers, rain, oceans and lakes. So I added some bouquet bubblers and a pond, then I put some candles beside the pond. Everburning candles, in her memory.

I also am sorry for your loss and know the pain of losing a parent. My mom died almost 10 years ago and my dad 6 years before that. I still think of my parents daily. I guess I can't help it, so many memories where I live. I also memorialized my parents in the game. Before I left the game 3 years ago I made a family tree island with my parents as the head of the family. I only recently came back to the game to update my island with a new grandchild. I know Christmas just passed, but what I did to help at Christmas, I bought an ornament that represented each of my parents, and each year I put those ornaments near each other, front and center on my tree, so I see them often. To me, it makes them still a part of my Christmas. From experience I can tell you the pain of loss passes away, but missing them never does. I am so thankful for wonderful memories.
