Someone said they only hold one dragon? I would have thought 2 like the regular habitats.
And the problem with being able to upgrade them is that they cease to be special for the players that worked so hard to earn the Large/Giant habitats originally.
I'm not really seeing that as a problem after they just had an event that brought back a bunch of previous event rewards and habitats. Those things took effort too. The Lost Island was a real-money exclusive when it first came out.
I have both the giant dark/light rewards, and I'd be happy to get another one. Even if I was the type of person who gets upset by other people also having nice things - I'd still have more of them than everyone else.

Me too. I'm holding on to my wish as well. Only thing I don't have is the giant light. Drat. Wish I had known to grind bushes then but it was the first event and I was slow. Thanks to this forum I banked tickets so I ended up with 3 sets of garden gnomes. Sigh the trademark is beyond my knowledge of iPhones.
I copied & pasted it from Cyn's post, but you got me thinking...so Google to the rescue: ™ is buried in the emoji keyboard under "Objects & Symbols". Once you use it once, it should be available in your recent emoji menu for future use.
Currently the word f-I-gur-I-n-e autocorrects in this forum to figurine.

And they have made the Light and Dark reward habitats available to everyone as well. Just in the small size. Those habitats are the only upgradeable reward habitats we have had, and no other decoration or island has that trait either. Two different sized Lost Islands would have been cool, actually, with the original players the only ones having the big one. But back to the point at hand, their was good reason to ensure that the Reward Habitats were not upgradeable when they were first earned. It would have made earning the Giant ones pointless. Can you make a good argument that everyone should be able to upgrade them now?
Just bumping this since i haven't gotten any feedback: "Can you (or anyone) please clarify what is meant by SF 5 & Mono 5 being exempt?"
Not sure of the original context but mono and SF follow slightly different rules to other epics. Both parents must be mono to breed another mono. Ditto snowflakes. Other epics only need one parent the same.
I don't know, but I would expect this will mean you will need to breed moX + mo5 to get a mo5 once they have expired.
It may also mean that we can only use mo5 + mo5 to get another, which would mean CBC is required if you only have one.

Was very happy to get all my banked tickets, 6,000 or so was enough for me to buy Snowflake5, the Vernal Glass, and one Earth Garden Gnome™. I thought they'd be bigger, but I'm glad they're 1x1, as it makes them so much easier to decorate with. I'll definitely buy several sets when they return.
Earth Dragons have always been one of my favorite species, they make lovely noises (sort of like purring?) and I like the way they amble about steadily. You could say they're very down-to-earth. *cough*
I placed it on my Panlong island in honor of the of the oldest and first crowned dragon in my park, an Earth Dragon I got during or soon after completing the tutorial. He's a bit of a celebrity to the other dragons. Or alternatively, he's the "Back in my day, we only had one island and max level was 35" guy.

I randomly send gems/treats if I have any leftover. No obligation to return anything.

Getting both of the Giant Light/Dark Reward Habitats was such an EPIC GRIND!
I am scrambling to get a Garland before it goes away by the end of the month. Any tips?
Crystal + Flower in the EBI worked a treat for me! 2nd breed, 1st 24hr egg! As long as you use dragons with Plant, Fire, Earth and Lightning elements, you'll be fine!
Breeding Target: Ovalith. It's ALWAYS Ovalith! Hoarded gems as a safety net to ensure an Ovalith during BEB, but I'm not sure if I want to spend them: I think I want the thrill of breeding it! Gems wasted on speeding up Ovalith breeding/incubation: 2890

Thanks greg. I'm not really clear on the technicalities of linking to particular quotes when they're nested, and after bumping, i saw that the original statement i was referring to wasn't there. Anyway, your answer clears things up, thanks.
Thanks Skitch. i'm hoping this is NOT case as i was planning on using the SF 5 to co-op with a SF 1-4 in other park later on.

Two words: Bush grind
I still haven't had they patience to delete all those bushes.

I respectfully disagree fletch. As one who regularly spends on events I want the ability to wish for giant light. The egg island, relic, omnitat, bush, tower, treatery, weather station are now available to all, which cost me 25 bucks each, why not the giant light. I frankly don't have the time to grind, so I pay for convenience and am fine with that. In a separate quibble for everyone, while I'm quvetching, I don't think it was cool for anyone to glitch and double your tickets early on. End mini rant.

I checked the wiki--they only hold one like the original small light/dark reward habitats do.

Hm... I wonder if I should forgo the three new themes and go for a Monolith 5 instead then...

It's a risk. We just don't have a precedent yet for limited Monos and Snowflakes. I have enough tickets left for a Mono5 or a Loot, so since I'm wondering the same thing I'm breeding for Mono5 like mad before I pull the trigger either way.

They do tend to blend in a bit! If I had more I could make a game of it. We should hide items on our islands and have scavenger hunts.
Same avatar, but it's me, echo 9! I was thinking along the same lines; like a where's Waldo hunt for these garden gnomes. They are so little so it's easy to forget where they are. I also had a hard time finding the one in the photo .... Even zoomed in as it was. All of my islands had about 600 tickets left after all my goodies so they each got a gnome. In case anyone is on the fence about spending the few remaining tickets or keeping for treats, you do get 2 gems for the gnome when you place it.

We used to do this with egg pedestals. But the dragonarium spoiled it. Figurines may be a way to bring it back. Not enough reason for me to get any though. I'd rather have the food.
