I wonder if it is possible to get a Midday by breeding an Epic with Midday. It should be. I'm not sure which prize I will get first. I want Midday, Sun Theme, the balloon... The figurines not so much, just for completion sake if I have enough tickets. Any strategies? I'm not really sure what to do, especially about the dragons.
If you're patient, you could wait until more prizes get added to the tent. BFS has stated that the prizes for the current stage won't be removed, so you should be able to buy the figurines if you've got enough tickets near the end of the event!
The figurines don't have the hourglass when you click on them, like the other prizes, so I bet you can buy them for gems or coins after the event.
So you got to 1678 in the name that Dragon contest? Did the extra 28 get banked?
Do you think because you reached your limit playing that game it doesn't bank the extra? Can anyone else confirm that they reached max playing Name that Dragon and the lost tickets? Or that tickets were banked?
No, I was showing as 1678 collected. Then tapped the Challenge Tent, and was back to 1650 and none banked.
That happened to me both in this event and in the last event. It's a glitch in the coding, where it briefly allows you to get higher than the max, but then resets when you reopen your game. You just lose the extra, it doesn't bank. And frankly, you won't get it back from BFS either.

Regarding Tickets received with Gem/Treat Gifts from my ten regular Friends, I've been waiting till I hit my daily ticket limit, then I collect their Gems and Treats. That way, only the tickets accumulate for spending later. I've been able to carry over tickets for both days, so far, so I think it won't be a problem to keep doing it, maybe thru the whole Faire, to spend in the last week, if needed. Occasional gifts from others get collected immediately so they don't clog up my Social Menu. Lucky for me, I haven't had the awful clogging problems that many of you have.
I will test the question of whether tickets earned in Spin the Wheel when the limit is reached are banked like Challenge tickets. My extra NTD tickets were. I have, so far, 290 banked tickets and 145 gift tickets in reserve.
Timing is everything for banking those extra tickets.
Remember getting over 3500 banked tickets is likely to be useless. So 50 a day will do. I have 200 banked because I accidentally collected BFS' gift from yesterday today
Well, yes, more are useless if I wait till then to use them. But I might need to take some time away - this is a looooooong Event

Very lucky indeed! I had mine available for about 16 hours, sped up probably 30 plus breedings with someone else's Midday and didn't get one twin fail, I normally get 1 in every 10. In addition during that time I got only 1 twin from friends and I think that one was left over from the previous pairing.
I'll believe it when someone we know achieves it... not that I don't trust FB posts, but I trust the people here so much more

I agree with the posts on this page about storing up tickets to use DURING the event rather than the end of the event; I think it's Backflip's way of saying they hear us; sometimes wifi goes down, parks crash, won't open and panic ensues. After all, at the rate we're going we'll have 3000 before August 1. I like it and am planning to store up for the first days of school; always a hectic time and it will be great to know there's some on hand if I fall asleep in my dinner plate first day back.

Sure there's a point! To get to 3500 as quickly as possible (in case you can't play the whole event or something happens) or, like me, you're gambling that they will relax the 500 limit after the event is over for the last week that the prize tent remains open. If they DO relax the limit, I want to maximize my prize-purchasing options!
