I have sent an email to backflip support for help. I am so disappointed. I have not touched my game today and I need to collect money, food, give out gems, all the usual things as well as I have been waiting with everyone else for this event to start.
Like LaMonster, I got stuck in the same major glitch! The tutorial lead me to a covered portal, and I'm unable to navigate anywhere else, as the screen won't permit movement. Can someone help me figure out how to notify BFS (sorry for my stupidity). Hope no one else gets stuck & enjoy the new exciting event!
Looks like around 500 tickets total for all events
Hmm, does this mean 500 total for hatching and party hats combined (and maybe clearing obstacles)? Or 500 total tickets per day (seems too limiting)? Or something else?

Hydrogen is a colorless, odorless gas, which if left alone in large enough quantities, for long enough, will begin to think about itself.

I was going through my loooong list of friends and noted a collection of '3' on one of them, the next returned 0. Adding all my numbers up, I had a total of 500 tickets collected.
NOTE: There was the 1000 bonus from the tutorial and 150 extra from the wishing well, so the total may be closer to 1500 per day (although that hurts my fingers thinking about grinding plant eggs).
EDIT: I did have a message pop up about having maxed out the ticket collection for the day, and I currently have 650 tickets.

Well, I have 524 tickets at the moment...
(25 of which are from gems spent on upgrading a Galaxy Island)
I think the max may be 500 + the 150 bonus for the tutorial

A silhouette of a dragon with 4 possible answers. Correct answers give 15 tickets.
Thanks! Sounds like my 19 tickets could have been 75. I'm pretty sure I know all dragons by shape.
Its a risk vs. reward decision with the "Wheel of Chance" vs. "Name that Dragon" choices. I got 40 tickets twice in a row when I tried the wheel, but there is also a good chance of only getting one ticket. The "Name that Dragon" contest (sihouettes can be baby or adult) is very easy (its a multiple choice), and you can even back out of it and go look up the dragon before you answer, if you aren't sure. That's pretty much a guaranteed 15 tickets per correct answer. So it comes down to whether you want certainty (the name the dragon game) or prefer to take a risk, with a potential either to score big or only get one (wheel of chance game).
I found a customer support email address for BFS - I had misspelled in the search box the first time. I blame it on excited fingers. I couldn't find a phone number either, so I'm hoping BFS will reply with a patch soon. I will live vicariously until then. On another note, do level 10 Epics and Galaxies offer higher odds in breeding the latest dragons? Someone posted certain dragons won't work in breeding for the newest epics after the coveted dragons expire; I think Dream was listed as one. Curious as to why...
So I just hit the limit as well... apparently you can only get 500 tickets per day. Global maximum excluding the 150 from the tutorial.
I gotta say, I really like this. This is going to be the most stress-free event ever.
I just hit this same limit... I guess right this second not feeling overly positive as unsure how long something like this might go for.. if its a week that suddenly makes this a daunting task. Maybe I have the wrong hang of it.

Well, NTD requires some knowledge, and the wheel requires nothing. I'm just going to assume that the wheel is set up to give out less than 15 tickets on average.
Plus with the 500 daily maximum, a big win on one day doesn't really matter.

If the max is 500 tickets per day, and the event runs 68 days (help file says it ends Sept 21), that is potentially 34,000 tickets. I can already tell I'm going to save up until the end, when all the prizes are revealed.
Just a little question in the beginning of this - whatever it is. Do you think on shall wait to empty the habitats from earned money until it's full to get tickets? Think that was one of the things with another of those events .....

Great idea, but the swirling ticket animation is probably going to drive me insane.
With the 500 Ticket (+150 first day Tutorial) max per day this is shaping up to be a stress free easy going event if you want it to be! I am going to slow down and enjoy all of the fun contests and ways of getting to 500. It is really great of BFS to give players so many ways of getting the max. Even if your game crashes getting Party Hats or you don't have Gems for 1to1 speed-ups it seems there are many other ways to make that up. Sweet!
