Re the name that dragon game, to be sure i took a screen shot,noted the 4 proposed dragons, went to the dragonarium and checked them there. You have each dragon there, in their various forms, baby, youngster, adult, easy. Despite three correct guesses, got respectively 40, 15 nd 15 tickets.
So looking at just the new prizes for sale, there's 2 figurines, the heated air balloon, sun theme, and the midday dragon for this first phase. That's 7155 total tickets required.
The next phase starts in 11.5 days, so on Sept 28th. At 500 tickets a day, you can earn a total of 6150 before the next group of prizes opens. Assuming that next weekend may be a double weekend, you'll get an additional 1500 tickets in 3 days for a total of 7650. Which means you can buy everything and still have roughly 500 tickets left over.
Do we know if the current prizes go away when the next phase starts, or will you be able to buy from both firelight and cold/water?

Has anyone had any problems with glitches on the update? Whilst going through the motions of them giving me a fire island theme and having to place it on the portal, it won't let me cancel or do anything else. My portal is behind one of my stadiums and I can cancel the action so I can move the stadium or even zoom in or out. Help!
If the max is 500 tickets per day, and the event runs 68 days (help file says it ends Sept 21), that is potentially 34,000 tickets. I can already tell I'm going to save up until the end, when all the prizes are revealed.
I have a feeling that the first set of rewards will expire when the second set is opened up, and so on.
Looks like plays are shared between the wheel and "Name That Dragon". Did someone play NTD, and how many tickets did you get?
I feel like the wheel is a waste of time - I got 19 tickets from my 5 plays (1+1+1+1+15).
I got 110 tickets and 5 gems out of my 5 spin the wheel plays (40+15+40+5gems+15) so it can be decent. I didn't realize it would share turns with the name the dragon game or I would have given at least one try to that game.
Not sure if this has already been mentioned (I'm out for dinner with friends and yes I'm sneakily playing DV) - I maxed out at 650 tickets and it won't allow me to collect any more.

I like the seemingly endless part hats; you GET cash and 5 tickets, plus you can see all the great parks! So much better than treats at 2 tickets randomly. I think I will gather tickets throughout the day with DC and contests, quests, coliseum etc and collect party hats toward the end of the day while watching a movie to hit whatever remains. You don't have to spend your gems and you don't have to spend money making endless treats if you don't want to. Received 5 gems twice on the wheel then quit that while I was ahead and went over to the guessing game.. Fun stuff! I'm loving this event!
edit: I think it is a good idea, however, to do the treats overnight for the reset, but if it's still that "diminishing algorithm" or whatever it is called, there really is no reason to grind away at treats. One and done

Hi. Sorry that my first post back after a very long life interruption is a request.
I have not even opened my game until I caught up on this thread, but I'm so glad I did. Most, if not all of my portals are covered up by decorations because I don't like the look of them.
I am now going to bring them out in the open before proceeding with the tutorial. (Hopefully, I can and am not just forced into the tutorial upon opening the game.)
Can someone add a warning to the first page of this thread? Something like,
"CAUTION: BEFORE EMBARKING ON THE TUTORIAL, MAKE SURE THAT YOUR ISLAND PORTALS ARE ACCESSIBLE. USERS WITH HIDDEN PORTALS HAVE EXPERIENCED A GLITCH AND HAVE BEEN FROZEN IN THE TUTORIAL PHASE."

BUT! The prize tent is available beyond the end of the event. So at least for that last week, I expect it all to be available. (well everything you are still able to purchase)

Then it seems like they would not need the All section in the Prizes area if you could only redeem prizes from the current set.

So if we base it on 11 days until next section unlocks and potential for the first event to phase out that equates 6150 tickets. Hmmm...decisions, decisions, love to get me a Twilight Tower as missed that but perhaps might be better on items that then aren't available later? Hopefully the midday dragon is breedable but perhaps best choosing that along with the celestial habitat. Will have to dwell on it.
