So is the hieroglyph dragon still available? Are they going to make it available again if it's not now? It's frustrating seeing that lock in the dragonarium saying "limited time" when the game was just downloadable a couple days ago.

I played before reset, and have never been able to get it (as i remember anyway).
So looks like it might come in the future

I just got DragonVale World. I'm a huge fan of Dragonvale so I thought I'd give it a try. I don't regret it

Not yet. Some of us were collecting data for months only to have BFS keep changing every thing from the dragons to breed times and earnings. I finally threw in the towel after the third time. Hopefully some enterprising soul will jump in with that info now that BFS has rolled the game out and should keep the times and earnings steady.

Is it just done by raw breeding statistics and collation? It would be hard to get a large enough sample for one person considering the timers.

I saw this morning a 'Comming Soon' sale that seems to indicate that dragon.

2000 gems, or fire+earth (according to breeding tip)
So in my cave 1: fire+earth
Cave 2: enchanted fire+enchanted earth

Looks like it's there for 17 days, so think you gonna try a lot more times

After about a billion times got 24h breed time in epic breeding cave with magma + thermal

Are there any other combinations for the hieroglyph dragon. I'm searching everywhere and i haven't found anyone who has given any other combinations.

The lowest average fail time is Fire x Underbrush, is it possible to get Heiroglyph dragon from this pair since there's a 50% chance of it being Fire-earth offspring? Or are epic dragons more of a "specific recipe + get lucky"? Or are they a "just get really lucky" type? I played a lot of Dragonvale back in high school and I'm wondering if the sequel is any different.

Bingo! So after probably 40 attempts of failure with enchanted fire+Earth level 10 each, I took a closer look at the description and it does say "two dragons with these two traits". Now what I think that actually means is that both dragons have to have those two traits? I leveled my magma to 10 and did Magma(10) + Thermal(9) and first try got 24 hours. Coincidence or a solid strategy? You decide.

I got a 24 hour egg using enchanted thermal dragon and a regular earth dragon in the epic breeding cave. Ill let you know tomorrow if its a hieroglyph drag or not.

Hey- I haven't really seen it posted anywhere so I just wanted to share one of my successful combos. For Fossil, I used Woolly (9) and Canyon (7) and got it first try! Of course, I tried lots of other unsuccessful combos prior to this. Obviously not the rarest dragon, but I've scoured the web looking for suggestions and found none. Just wanted to share.

Do enchanted dragons require using the basic dragon as one of the parents, or is it just a matter of luck when breeding for a combination? Eg. Does basic fire x earth still have the chance to produce an enchanted magma dragon, or does that chance require a basic magma dragon x another earth/fire dragon?

I think I just got an enchanted wildfire egg from earth and water from the normal breeding cave and only takes half an hour to breed and hatch.Can anyone give me a cinder dragon recipe please.
