Can you not just cast another Tome on one of your FvRainbows?

Yes, but then it will be a AvRainbow, etc. I still want a straight up Rainbow. It would be great to have the option to eliminate the variant.

Ahh. I was mistaken about what you were after. There was a way to trash spells that had been cast. Will have to see if I can find a way to eliminate the Tomes now.

Hey guys! I have played dragonvale world for 1-2 weeks now and i'm trying to get the rainbow dragon! I am currently level 15 and have bought the epic breeding cave. I have seen alot of you guys posting different combinations but i am a little confused. When you guys say "WwParadise" or "AvGrotto" what is meant by Ww and Av? And if you have any increased experience in breeding rainbow dragons what combo would you think is the easiest one to use? Thanks for the help!
May i know how many breeding cycles does it usually take to get the rainbow dragon using the following dragons
Fv Lake +tumbleweed Fv Methane+ Oasis
Hey Dragonvale Fan, if I'm not wrong, you might not have enough elements required in your breeding combos for a Rainbow dragon. For your first combo, you have Fire, Water, and Air as your base elements, but that's only 3, so you'll need your Tumbleweed to be Earth Enchanted (or Variant) in order to try for a Rainbow. You're also missing the Earth element in your second combo, so try using an Earth Enchanted (Variant) Oasis, or any other dragon which has Earth, Water, as well as a different Location element from your Fire Enchanted Methane.

With regarding to how long it takes, that is a bit of an unknown. You just need to keep trying until it happens. In DV1 you had about a 1% chance of breeding a Rainbow dragon, but that didn't mean you were guaranteed to get it 1 time in 100. You could get it on your next try, or it could take many, many breeds.

As far as we can tell. Originally we thought you needed Air as one of the elements for Rainbow, because they both became available at Level 9, but one of the combos we have listed as successful does not have Air as an element.
The good thing about it, or not, is that you can only try for one epic at a time. None of the combos overlap, so you won't get super long fails when trying for them.
Anyone got Iris Dragon? I'm currently trying out combos for it, but it would be great if anyone knew. Got all the other epics already so it is my last one
Canyon lev 10 FV and canopy lev 10 EV Fern lev 10 FV and canopy lev 10 WV Cosamar lev 10 FV and minarel lev 10[ gave a rainbow ]Minarel lev 10 FV and Canyon lev 10 AV Imp lev 10 EV and wink lev 10 gave an iris Minarel lev 10 FV and Canyon lev 10 AV Pit dragon WV om the left and magma dragon AV om the right in normal Cave[gave a phosil Dont underest the normal Cave. Speling controle stinks on this side so i am sory it dident come out rigt the First time. This is the right combo for my dragons Rainbov Plumed Hetroglyf Phosil And iris dragons
Remember always rebread at least 4 times at every combo
Hey peeps!!! I was just wondering whether do you need to breed level 10 dragons to get the rainbow dragons or will the level 8 ones suffice!!

If you mean me DW i found out that lev 10 dragons wood produse a mutch better and quicker results When breading. Bedst results are start Plum dragon in normal Cave and rainbow in epick Cave. Dont underrestimate the normal Cave Got my first Plum phosil and iris there. koala
