Yeah, the forum used up it's limit quite some time ago. Now you need to host it somewhere else, like photo bucket, and post the link.

Yeah, the forum used up it's limit quite some time ago. Now you need to host it somewhere else, like photo bucket, and post the link.

Just dropped by and saw the Heiroglyph dragon. Couldn't click on it because you were using it for breeding, but it's definitely a new dragon that is not revealed in the dragonarium. Great stuff. I'll post some screen grabs in the Tips and Tricks thread.

Thank you, i have water and fire variants that aren't breeding if you like close ups. And i took a pic on two of the eggs.

The variants aren't called "glowing" or "heated", which feels inconsistant.

And those two I got pretty easily, but the air variant seem impossible. I wonder if there is a difference between orbital and windy when IT comes to breeding... but as always, maybe it's just down to luck.

And I sent one hieroglyph away on the air ship earlier too, a bit strange that it's in the air ship but not in the dragonarium...

I'm thinking that the Hieroglyph was probably added to the game before they added the names of the variants, and it might be a dragon that slipped through the cracks since it hasn't popped up in the Dragonarium or the market yet. Thanks for the heads up!

I think you're right. Wonder if there is a new rainbow element dragon waiting to be discovered too.

Hi! Im kinda new to all of this and I was wondering, what does Fv, Ww, Av, Ev etc. stand for?

And what does a location element dragon mean? If i breed an lake dragon with a tumbleweed dragon will it result in a rainbow?

Hi Ellie,

They are for the variant dragons. Fire variant, Water variant, etc.

There are four location elements, Jungle, Desert, Cavern and Fairy.

I believe you will need at least a variant of one of those dragons.

Hi. I've been playing DVW for quite a while now, but there is some things I need clarified. In order to get a, for example, fire enchanted Fern dragon, all you have to do is breed a FireD with a FernD until you get the desired dragon? Or is there some other scheme behind the enchantments?

That should do it. It certainly worked in the past. There have been quite a few updates since the game launched, but I don't think they would have changed those mechanics. Maybe the percentage success rate.

But yes, Fern Dragon + any dragon with Fire (so Flytrap or Paradise would work as well as a plain Fire Dragon) should give you a chance of a FvFern Dragon.

I haven't seen any info on how to get the mega variants yet, since they changed the rules. Frustrating, sometimes, to play a game that frequently changes!

To get the mega variants, you can't do it with spells anymore since the latest update. You now have to complete the artifact sets, check out the wizard hall for that.

New to DragonVale, what does in the beginning of this forum, its says "AvLake" and so on infront of the diffrent dragons? I'm guessing it has something to do with enchantment, but what do they mean? Which enchantments means what?

I'm trying to get a hieroglyph dragon. Do anybody know how long the breeding time is? It would be nice to know directly if there is a chance to get the hieroglyph.

I wonder if they have changed the breeding rules for the rainbow dragon in the last update. Now I have tried three of the successful combos at least ten times each but no luck. Well, I keep on trying!
