I don't know how you'd do that in general on iOS, but you can also open DV World, hold the left side of the screen with 1 finger, and touch the right side of the screen with 2 fingers.
There should be a line near the top that says something like "Base Client Version: 1.3.1.1003"
Completely forgot about the finger trick, thanks! In my case it says " base client version 1.3.0.4006" , so definitely older version and haven't seen an update notification yet..

Hey good trick I did it but on my iOS version is still only 1.3.0 has iOS have the 1.3.1.1003 version? Cause I have checked for an update and nothing. So please if that version is on iOS 1.3.1.1003 then how do I update it? Ty

Make sure you are in the proper App Store as notifications will not show up unless you are signed into the country store you downloaded the app from. I am normally in the U.S. store and have to sign out of that store and into the Singapore store to find out if there is an update. I then sign back into the U.S. store so my DragonVale updates show up.
Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Apple ID: > View Apple ID > sign in and change Country / Region
At level 11 you gain access to the Guild Hall. So how, as a forum, can we make the most of that?
Guilds have a limit of 30 members, so I have no doubt we will need more than one to cover everyone on the forum that takes up the new game. You need at least 10 other Guild members to get the benefits of their help, but the more people that are available to 'help' you the better the chance you will reap the benefit, so membership of 20 will be much better than 11.
We have created a primary Guild, Dragonvale Community, to get things underway so feel free to join it when you reach Level 11. When we get close to max members we will have a think about what we want to do. All suggestions are welcome.
I'm level 13 and the Guild's is not available for me . It keep saying coming soon 😥 I want to play with friends whitout fb !!!!! My park is so beautiful and I have rare dragons. Love the game but I would love it more if I could play with friends . Please help me join

When they re-released DVW a little while ago, the guilds went away and haven't returned yet....

Guilds don't allow for that anyway. When they were in the game, it was basically just a chat room and an "ask for help" button on timers. You couldn't interact with guild members or use their markets or anything.
Of course, they might expand the concept when they re-release guilds. I really hope they do because there's so much cool stuff they could do.
Imagine a guild hall that could be expanded and decorated by group officers. Maybe a way for members to generate resources for the guild, and then officers can spend it on buildings that do stuff? Imagine like a Dragonsai Bush that gives every guild member +1 daily gem gift. Or communal habitats that can display donated dragons and everyone could collect from them or feed them. Of course, feeding guild-owned dragons would have to be pretty expensive to compensate. Maybe a cooperative Dragonarium that works off donated dragons - maybe requiring level 15-20 so it's not too easy. Or a lottery that people pay gems into and every week, a lucky winner takes it all.
Actually that last one is probably a bad idea to have in a game targeted partially at children.

Well actually it's not a bad idea at all I think 😁 it is a safe way to play and you can call it a " Winn it all hall " lol instead of lottery 😊 but all of these idea you are having is excellent , I can't wait to see what new things they gonna do , and I hope they will make it available to buy gems with dragon cash , it is a win win for everybody . Now that I'm level 14 😊 I can see more and more , and can't wait to discover even more 😁
