It has only been spotted in the Philippines itunes store.   

The Dragonvale wiki has started a page for it.

Staff are prepping for this. It hasn't been released on US iOS yet, only in the Philippines App Store. When a few more people are able to get it, it will probably open.

Actually we first spotted it in the Singapore store. And as JV said some of the staff have been playing it and building a quick start manual in the background. We were waiting until it became more widely available before going public.

The staff have been discussing amongst ourselves whether we should start a thread now for speculation of the game. If there's interest we might start one pre mainstream release.

The game description on the wiki sounds fantastic!  Can't wait!!  Now, where's that   "You know you're addicted when ..." Thread again?  I may need to add to my entry...

I'd heard it's much more geared toward a pay-to-play model (like Rise of Berk for example). Is that correct? I'd actually be OK with that if they stop doing it so much to DV. Though, I hope DV doesn't get left in the dust...

I wonder if it'll be linked somehow to 'parent game' DV? Like switchable between games...
Im too new to this whole online gaming thing to know how it usually works...what fun !

That has not been my experience so far. The play seems pretty similar to the original. If you're patient it costs you nothing to play and achieve everything. If you want everything now then you will have to spend some money. I guess the real test of that will be if and when they run events.

I'm happy to hear that. Maybe the people who said all this were just really impatient!

I've been trying out the game as well. Based on my experience, DragonVale World seems to be quite a different game from DragonVale, aside from the fact that they're both games where you breed dragons. My guess is that DV won't be left behind for now, since DV World has been in the works all this time while DV has been going at full force. The difference in graphics (DV is 2D, DV World is 3D) probably also means that each game has a separate team of artists. So unless BFS suffers a major drop in interest in DV, I'd say that we don't have to worry about it for the time being.

Yep. I'm most excited about the Clan thing they mention and the fun we can have here as a forum with games, competitions and the like.

It sounds like a lot of fun with spells and all ; I'm just hoping it's fun competition between clans and not battles etc.... the number one reason I haven't started many other games.  Like building a park and then having to gear up to defend it etc.  

Now that the word is spreading do you think we'll get it in the AppStore by Christmas?

Gizmonauts was launched for testing on 17 September, 2012. Our Tips and Tricks thread was started on the 28th of October, so that's about 6 weeks of pre release. DV World has been out since the 19th of November, so 2 weeks. I guess we'll see.

Something everyone should keep in mind is that the quality of the graphics require a recent piece of hardware and software.

Requires iOS 8.0 or later. Compatible with iPhone 5s and later, iPad Air and later, iPad Mini 2 and later, and iPod touch (6th Generation) and later.

Also, we have no idea if it is available for Android.

Ughhhh I was getting so excited but I'm pretty sure my ipad is only on iOS 7 because it's getting old and I don't want it to lag...

My wife's phone is the only device in house that will play it. She's getting annoyed by my taking it all the time for this new game. Going to have to look at upgrading something here.

Phew! I have iPad Air. That's a relief.

P.s - I will be starting the Solar Eclipse army (as a clan). Kilts will indeed be required to join this hearty clan
