Question: am I correct in assuming you need the bank in order to collect beyond 1 million coins? DV has no limit, is it different in DV World? Currently my bank is at 2 mil. Next upgrade to 5 mil.
Ha, no expert here by any means, but yes it does seem there are limits on the amount of coins you can collect, then you need to buy the bank and upgrade it to raise the limit. That's quite different from DV.
Also, you don't have to buy gem dragons, just keep logging in each day and collect from the calendar for 20 days to get your first gem dragon. Not exactly sure how it works after that. If continuing to collect from the calendar gives a new dragon every 20 days, or it allows you to level up the dragon you already have. Hoping someone will have an idea.
I'm working towards my 7th Gem dragon. Those who were playing before the 'BIG RESET' got 2 gem dragons for free, and I've played for ~3 months since, so have earned 4 more, and have another coming in a couple of days.

Thanks I always keep both The book in the "dragonarium" only counts dragons you actually have. So if you sell the unenchanted, it will say that you miss that dragon. So my goal is to get 'em all
The upgrades will be unlocked as you lvl up. The costs of the upgrades is more expensive at the later habitats (like fairy, air and so on). So take your time. No rush getting finished, 'cause when you have all of the "normal" dragons, and is in lvl 50, there's not much to do. And the enchanted dragons has become pretty rare. So take your time, and enjoy the game
It takes a bit planning to fit all of the dragons in habitats in the beginning, but when you unlock upgrades along the way, it will be better
Remember, I was a newbie too in the beginning I just have too much freetime, to spend in the game I'm sure there's things in the game, I'm not familiar with yet. I'm from denmark, so the game was released ealier here. But there has been a lot of changes from then at till the official release. Enchanted dragons was SO much easier to get. The gem-dragons gave a lot more gems. The airships was better. That might have made it easier for me to get that far. At some point, I think it's fine that they nerfed it a bit, so it takes more time to "finish" the game
Oh wow, good to know selling the regular form of the enchanteds removes them from the found dragons list. Will definitely keep them then. Have found 1 ench earth and 2 ench frozen and kept them all. Am thinking to sell the 2nd ench frozen when space is needed.
Remember well trying to fit all the dragons into the early DV game. Love starting over again. Also enjoying the weekend challenges, even though it will be impossible to finish this first one, still fun trying.

It's like a little puzzle, and until I got the space to "sort" the dragons in the habitats, it was a mess looking for a specific dragon
The weekly challenges is nice. Giving a variation to the game I'm able to finish them somethimes, but using gems. Only gems earned by airships and gems dragons btw, so no money spended And even when you don't finish, you still earn extra of something those days
Alright. Since I know how tough DVW's early game is, and since it's entirely possible to transfer DragonCash, I'm offering a small loan of 2 million dollars to any fellow forumites who are stuck in that progress swamp.

Transferring DC is pretty easy. I just sell you some items at minimum price, and you sell them back to me at maximum price. Repeat until your cup runneth over.

For those of you trying to increase your Gems keep an eye out in your park. There is a Tiger visitor that comes around daily and gives you one Gem and also a long-eared Rabbit that visits every seven days who will give you five Gems. Twelve Gems a week and all you have to do is log on and collect them.

I wondered about that - was a bit surprised that this was the case!
So far I have an extra incubation site and am at 116 Gems on my way to buying the EBI. After that I may do the Dragonsai tree, not sure though.
It's going much MUCH faster than I remember DV going early on.

Thanks Pixie. I decided at the start to wait and see what BFS has in mind on those gem dragons. I am retired and my hobby is sewing, so no way I am buying those dragons when I can buy fabric. lol!

Thanks. I was wondering about that rascally rabbit. He showed up but I haven't seen him since. Nice to know he is once every 7 days. I see and collect from Tony the Tiger everyday. The gifts from the visitors is nice also.

Did you earn them from the 20 day calendar?
No other way to earn them except for forwarding your paycheck to BFS.
Although they used to cost $100 a pop, so really you whippersnappers are getting a bargain here.

Am retired too, and also sew, although most of my sewing is embroidery on vinyl with a charitable group making key fobs for the families and fellow comrades of fallen police officers. Am enjoying this new game and trying not to get stressed over it. One day at a time.
I'm pretty upset. I explain. I'm sharing my device with my daughter so she can have her own park under her own GameCenter account. I have my GC ID too but we share the same Facebook account because she can't have hers, she's too young and it probably would be hard to manage both. This arrangement has been working fine while using DragonVale (for years, now). And it was working fine too for DragonVale World until yesterday : my park has been transferred to her GC account, I don't know how, and I don't have access to my friends anymore (sorry for not being able to send you gems, guys). And I'm unable to take my park park back no matter what I try : login in, out, shutting everything down, re-starting the device, etc. I've emailed BFS about the subject but I'm still waiting for their answer. Meanwhile, if anybody has an idea, I'll take it!

I must be silly, but i have no idea how to find add you on facebook, im level 16 and doing well managing but some extra gold would take me a very long way. With upgrading habitats as well as my bank.
