The Video Peddler hasn't shown up for me since the update either. That's probably for the best, since tapping on him stopped loading any ads in a while.
There's some strange flickering while looking at the list of dragons in the locations, and my game has crashed a couple of times since the update. But nothing major so far, and I think the raised food cap and habitat DC limits will help.
Fletch_smf, I'm curious to find out what the Rainbow will bring back for you.

I have not had the flickering but it did crash once soon after I updated.
I am also happy with the raised food and DC limits. Now I don't have to feed stuff I am saving for a Spell to make room for items needed to fill an order. Also spending time buying and selling the 5000DC rocks in order to make room for DC habitat collections was getting old, though that did help me level up quickly!
It seems BFS is quickly sorting out the game to make it live worldwide. Since many of their customers are in the Northern Hemisphere I think they will want to roll it out before the weather turns warmer and people get distracted by the great outdoors.

I received a Beanstalk. Big prize worth 2048XP. It does not appear as a collectable item in the Jungle, Desert or Cavern. So … perhaps there is a higher selection of rewards that can be collected by Epic dragons. This seems the most likely as the other rewards, cap out at 1024XP for a Level 3 reward. Then again, I guess it is possible that the Beanstalk is a reward from the Glimmerverse, not available to me or my regular dragons yet. I am guessing Level 30 will allow me to unlock the Glimmerverse and get into the Fairy Dragons.
There is no extra boost to the food, it offers no special effects for particular dragons. And I don't think it is needed in any spells. Whilst it is an interesting test, 2 days is a long time for it to be out of commission. Maybe when the Clan has members and can give a discount, it might be worth using it again. For the moment, I'm going to keep it for breeding and earning DC.

One more thing, I sent a Pitch dragon off to gather in the Cavern, and still most of the dragons were in my main park, so most of the rewards were Level 1, with just the Cavern reward up to Level 2. This means that the longest gather time should be 2 hours. But it went away for a 12 hour gather and bought back a Level 3 Cavern reward. So I don't know if something has changed there and all rewards are available, or whether it was a one off glitch. More testing to do.
Basically, my thought was, leave the Level rewards low, because XP earned by gathering will be maximised with a quicker turn around. We'll see what happens.
That's weird about the 12-hour instead of 2-hour gathering. The game has looked a little more glitchy since the update, so it could certainly be a glitch.
Good point about keeping the location levels low, since each dragon earns a certain amount of XP no matter what level rewards it's getting. But I usually find it a chore to keep re-gathering since I don't play the game as often. And my pantry is always full! I'm probably not playing the game "properly." I guess keeping the locations at level 2 should be quite a good compromise, since you seem to be getting the special items at level 2.

Yeah, I don't think any of the Level 3 rewards are needed for many of the spells that are going to be used regularly. Youth & Toddler Squash and Deser & Cavern Mushrooms, to make Baby and Youth dragons, are available at Level 2. The only other reason to unlock the Level 3 rewards is for the decorations that become available.
I can confirm that Level 30 unlocks the 4th Location. The Glimmerverse/Fairy Dragon are mine.
Whoa, Fairy Habitats are 500,000 DC for the regular and 1,000,000 DC for the Large. That probably doesn't sound like a lot to those used to DV1 numbers, but it's 3 days of saving, at least, to buy the small one. Luckily, I can house the Fairy dragon in the Location for the moment, as the upgrades their are the same cost as the others.
Some cute dragons. Will start adding them to the grids and the Breeding Time table.

There has been a lot of activity in the DV World game, with many people trying to join our Clan. With the idea that people can find this forum through the new game, it seemed like a good time to open up this resource to the public, so that people looking for answers could find some.
This section is an ever evolving work in progress. All input is welcomed.

With my new Glimmerverse Location, and all the rewards at Level 1, I took the chance of sending my Rainbow dragon gathering. Only 15 minutes, so that is cool. We'll see what it returns with.

First excursion returned a Pumpermelon, a Level 1 Water reward. Then a 2 hour excursion bought back Seed Syrup, a Level 2 Earth reward, even though only Level 1 rewards should be available. Gone for another 2 hours now.
Is it just my park or since the update has anyone else noticed that parent dragons no longer pass their spells to their offspring?
Unfortunately, imgur is not cooperating or I would post pics of my NPCs. Since the update I have three show up with gifts: green bird, light cape lady, and lumberjack guy. Have not been on enough to figure out timing but I consistently get two dragonsnaps (various kinds) and one spell water (varies).
Only going into the game two or three times a day has me constantly bumping up against the top limits for food and coin. Don't know if I should keep buying and selling the 25,000 groups of trees or just let the coins be wasted when I try to collect.

Definitely noticed this. I thought they had removed it altogether, but some times the offspring has spells. I am trying to work out the system, but any info of successes or failures in this side of things would be appreciated.
Do not waste the DC. Turn it into XP by buying and selling decorations. It doesn't take long with the higher priced ones, so it's not too much of a grind. I have also started to send out the most expensive dragons when gathering as that is turned instantly into XP as well.
