Yeah, nah; I'm struggling to be clear, sorry: trying again whenever I don't collect a gift (because I don't have a gem to send in return) then that uncollected gift in my list seems to vanish next time I log in ( usually at least 2 or three days later); I think that's crappy; so what that encourages us to do, is collect every gift, and then scroll through all friends each day to see who we owe most to... True? so it doesn't work like the gifts list in DV, right, where you can work away at accumulated gifts until cleared...

I'll try it on my side to see if it happens to me too, got a gem that I haven't collected yet so I'll see if it disappears after a while. I usually log in at least once everyday so we'll see if that makes a difference at all. Most of my current list of DVW friends don't seem to be playing any longer, so I don't have the issue there of rotating gifts, though my view is set to time and not alphabetically so all currently active friends stay at the top anyway.

So far the test gem has remained in my gifts since this last post, so it doesn't appear that I am having the same issue as you.

There is a Weather setting called Limbo available in the Clockwork Climatizer for 1 gem. It grays out the background and leaves the dragons, eggs and some details in color. Makes it easy to see the guests with the presents. Not sure if this is an April Fool item or just something I have not noticed yet but its interesting.

Hey a shout out to those who still dabble occasionally in DVW: the only breeding guide app I could find for this game has stopped updating; I've written to the dev's but am not holding my breath I used to refer to the comments section all the time for ideas about parent combinations which had worked for others in breeding the recent release dragons; Would there be interest here to simply list new dragon releases as they occurred, and the parent dragons forum members find successful? I'm not sure what format, whether I ask Cyn for a new thread and we list them in the OP, or quite what... And in any case there may be no interest... Let's run it up the flagpole and see if anyone salutes 😊

Yeah, I noticed the site was not updated. Is this a dead game? I quit dv a few years ago when they kept having those annoying festivals, but saw this new version was out and decided to try it. I doubt I’ll get very far as I can’t even add friends for the all important gems as facebook is not something I’ve ever or would ever consider using.
The drsgon turned out to be some orange treat dragon. I had to click every dragon in the drsgonarium that I didn’t have to compare the egg design.

No, the DVW game is still live; new dragons often, weekend extra eventettes, dreaming up loads of new ways to add enchanteds and spells... Just sadly not the app it seems... I can't be bothered atm with keeping up with all that, haven't even added all the habitats I've got available... I just pop in whenever DV gets a bit slow/boring and do the collect, breed and tend to housework😄

Any tips for acquiring dragon cash? I find it difficult to maintain enough to purchase expansions. Between upgrading habitats, gathering, and growing food, I am unable to save enough buy extension three. I haven’t even touched the potion thingie yet because it’s so expensive. I think I am at level 18 or 19. I have a lot of upgraded earth habitats already, but they fill pretty slowly without 10.000 panlongs to put in them like in dv.
I don't mind posting combos that I find work if it helps others. Nice thing about dvw is that you can see breeding hints in game without having to pay gems so I haven't been too sad about not having a breeding guide site. At one point not long after its release I had a Google doc with breeding lists but I haven't updated it in a while. If there's interest I would be willing to dust it off again.

I started playing this about two weeks ago. I am an active player. Need some friends to get a little more out of the game. I would appreciate any friends requests.

It's just a slow grind at the beginning I recall; although I used to supplement with sales of surplus stuff in the shop, that helped but I remember it was a challenge switching continually between DC, food, and levelling dragons; those changed daily actually made the game nicely testing for me, back then i started a third park just to have that early struggle again 😳😂

There is the DVWorld Rare Breeding Guide thread which hasn’t been posted on in a while. The beginning part of it is a bit outdated because of traits (which BFS eliminated) but you could certainly post combos there. Maybe I’ll change it to DVWorld Breeding Guide... TBC

That is what mine was doing for a while. After you are signed in, go to that address bar and delete that last bit of letter/number combo (delete J4v1F or whatever the new combo is) and hit refresh. The upload symbol should now show on the upper right corner of the page.
