Enchanted Underbrush + Enchanted Frozen both level 20 produced both versions for me.

Echo Dragon now available, a new permanent. Virgia + Sonar.

   

And it is the first Void Dragon.

For those still playing DVW....

It took several tries, but I got the Mechina Dragon using Magma x Fairy in the breeding cave. I was also using the enMagma x enFairy on the enchanted island to double-breed, Using the same Magma x Fairy combo with the breeding booster and crystal in the breeding cave, I got the enMechina on the first try.

So far I haven’t had any luck getting the Echo Dragon yet though.

Haven't got an Echo either: mistakenly stopped breeding for it, thinking it had gone for some reason 🙃
.. and I'm trying all sorts of combos for Machina, so I'll try yours
I wish thenextflow would update their DVW app, they're keeping up, more or less, with DV, but then we have the fab sandbox for that, at least this thread for DVW assists 😊

Glad I could help.  I hope it works for you.  At least the Echo dragon isn’t time-limited.

I check the chatroom in thenextflow app.  They post their successes in there.   I ignore all the spell references.  If the combo is going to work, it doesn’t seem to need spells.

Sea Devil — either Jungle x Shore or Tropical x Earth combos will work. I got the dragon with one and the pedestal with the other. Jungle x Shore hit first for me ( your mileage may vary). I had Jungle x Shore in the cave and Tropical x Earth on the enchanted island.

EnSea Devil — I used enJungle x enShore with the breeding booster and crysstal and got a hit on the third try in the breeding cave. The unenchanted versions should also work.

I tend to use enchanteds to breed for enchanteds when I can. I haven’t done a side by side comparison so I don’t really know whether it makes a difference.

Just clarifying; the only 'chat room' I've discovered in the Nextflow apps is the comments section, which necessarily relies on Nextflow having the latest dragon listed (they're woefully behind with DVW sadly) is that the case, or is there another place where folk are sharing success with the latest releases?

Click on the little menu icon in the upper left corner.  That will take you to a menu list of areas other than “featured dragons”.  Go down that list and click on “Add me & Chatroom”.  When that window opens, click on the Chatroom selection at the top of the window.
That’s a non dragon-specific chat room and is where they trade breeding combos for the latest dragons.  I’ve had a mixed success rate with their combo suggestions, but at least it’s a place to start.

You can just look up any breeding combo in the Dragonarium, so this seems a bit pointless

I've never found, unless a fixed breeding pair, breeding combos in the dragonarium; tips yes, but that leaves multiples to try; we're talking about successful dragon pairings...

Woohoo! After another Virgia fail, per the breeding time, I FINALLY have an Echo dragon incubating. I’ve posted guards around the breeding cave. This one took so many tries that I kept checking that I wasn’t missing an update or something. It’s habitat is all warmed up and waiting for it.

We’ve got a bunch of new spirit dragons but where are we supposed to get the spirit shards to breed them? Has anyone found a source for the spirit shards?

You don’t need Spirit shards for the Spirit dragons this year. You do need the Crystal shards for enchanted versions. I didn’t have a go at the Spirit dragons last year as I was on an older version and didn’t want to update since I was still getting enchanted dragons from the weekend challenges. I have been able to get 7/22 so far this go around. I suggest using the combos for the epic dragons and you will get the others as fails. That has been my strategy and I already have the 4 non epics from last year and Thermal from this year. I got one epic and used the epic rarity potion to get the enchanted version and pedestals.

Great...thanks for the clarificaiton.  That’s a lot more friendly than having to use a second kind of shard.
