With the new month, comes a new installment of POTM. It works like this:
You find a post you like and you nominate it for Post of the Month. You do this by quoting the post and adding the comment "Post of the Month" or if you think you can't pull it off, simply "POTM". A Mod will move your POTM Reply to this thread. Conversely you can right click on the "Link to Post" at the bottom of each post and Copy Link Location. Then post in this thread with "Post of the Month" (or "POTM" if you think you can), right click in the thread and Paste. You cannot nominate your own post ... I mean c'mon ... that's just really lame ... no matter how cool/funny/clever/poignant you think you were. Each post can only be nominated once. The first person to do so gets the nod. On the 1st of next month (or thereabouts, I mean, we're all working folks here, well most of us) we'll make a Poll with all the nominated threads and everyone here will be invited to vote for their favorite thread. You'll have about a month to vote. So at the end of next month we'll have a winner, or more accurately, two, because the original poster AND the person who nominated them wins. What do you win? Gems of course. The mods will pay the winners.
So, to sum up. - Make good posts. - Nominate good posts. - Vote for posts. - Profit. - Have a laugh.

I decided I wanted to go on vacation so I packed a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and a small bottle of Coke-a-Cola. I grabbed four year old Larry from down the street and we headed to the freight yard and hopped on a train. After a fun ride through northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin we decided to eat and it was then that I realized I had forgotten an opener. The train stopped in a small rural town and we got off to open the Coke. It was there that a police officer spotted us, two four year olds, and started asking us questions.
At the police station he called my dad who had to drive all the way from Chicago to pick us up. While waiting the nice officer bought us burgers and ice cream and I got my Coke opened! My dad was in hysterical laughter the entire ride home telling me how proud he was of me for taking the initiative. Larry got a beating when he got home. Poor Larry, he didn't want to play with me after that! You may want to level that dragon up as I have mellowed out in my old age.

We mods normally send a gem to the perpetrator and a gem to the nominator of the declared POTM. In this case, the perpetrator is on Android. I personally cannot send gems to that platform so I asked who to send them to. He suggested you as the person who started the exchange that ended in the POTM. I tried to comply (but you keep sending them back). It appears others have taken the suggestion as the correct way of dealing with the situation.
