Though I've managed a lot fewer crashes after pruning my friend list, I haven't been able to make visits since the 2d day of the event.
I posted two of the parks on the tours thread ... even though it's a little tough to see all of the rose dragons in the photos (5 each park). Thanks for asking!
I don't know if anyone has noticed it. When you want to reveal all cards on the board without losing attempts, you close and open the game. I've found that visiting a friend sort of restarts the game - you reveal the card, write it down, visit your friend, return to park and the revealed card is closed.

waggintail, I have all those problems too, that you described during the last days. Also playing on ipad 2. my friend list is cut down to 20 - not happy about that. Without forthclosing and shutting down the whole device before playing DV it's really really bad. Even with that newstart my social menu crashes often. Regarding visiting friends there is a little help in this : visit at first a park that is really low-level and then the park that you are interested in. It seems that at some point the programm has sort of both data in the memory. By going visa a small park your possibility to get it opened is bigger.

Just so you know, you can just put in the numbers if you need to. It would only take a few minutes to use a replace feature to update everything to number and word.

I entered about 6 games (I manage 3 parks) last night, and thought it would be easy for the eyes and brains if we present those numbers as non-dbl numbers. Let me know what you think. Of course, when it's dble wkend, we can revert to dbl numbers.

Anyone wanna guess what the limited dragon that will most likely come out this weekend will be? They usually release one on the weekends alternating double weekends, like with holly, tidal, pharaoh, and muse. My guess will be a limited hybrid, a green, envy dragon. Hopefully not another dragon with plant as its primary element. We could use more air, water, light, dark, and metal primary limiteds. But they might even do a limited Aura type dragon.
Moonstruck was 2014 Valentine dragon.
You need another guess to include Epic, then?
I would guess a dragon w/ the following elements: plant, fire, air, water. Peony dragon would be my choice for this year Valentine dragon

Hm, I think we need yet ANOTHER naming competition. Looks like Valentines is approaching and that means another new dragon! Anyone want to give a guess as to what it could be called? A gem to any who get it right! (feel free to ride along my guess since I can't give a gem to myself.)

Oh, great idea, I love peonies! So much, that last spring, I brought home five small loads of stones -about twenty five at a time- carried them one by one to my back yard, and built a planter for my peonies. They are happier there in the partial shade and nice dirt. Sorry, getting a little off topic here...
There is a major glitch! If I don't shut out of my DV window completely, it won't reset. I have to swipe the window up and make sure it's completely closed down in order for my game to reset. Otherwise it tells me to come back blah blah blah

Ditto Skeeter...I hope all these glitches are only related to this event, and not to our various iPads etc becoming unable to handle the game. I'm now unable to visit any L70 and above parks which are intensively decorated, even using all the tricks I have developed over time... No more visiting some of my fave parks ...sob

Passion would be my guess actually. The limited dragon is for sure going to be an Aura, and that would fit pretty well.
I am having to leave DV, hard shut down the game. THen reload it to get new roses in a new day. Otherwise, it just sits there with a frozen roses counter and doesn't recognize my collecting, etc. for getting roses purposes! (And games just tell me I'm out of plays!)
I was having that issue, logging in close to reset time. Today I did not experience that, but I did go in maybe an hour after reset.
One day I tried hard-closing the game after reset but before I went in, but still had to go back out.
I logged in to a new account and then immediately opened Gamecenter 45 minutes after reset and still had it not recognizing a new day. Tomorrow I will try hard resetting before going in.
However, I had another weird effect today as well. I switched to a secondary game. Gamecenter clearly showed me in the second account (my "child" account that I set up then realized it was pretty unusable that way). The game, islands, dragons were clearly the baby account's island, game, dragons. But the social menu/friends belonged to vonfirmath! But I had 4 more gems to send out. I didn't try sending them.

I started collecting gems and DC and couldn't figure out why I wasn't getting roses. I'm not happy about this. I've logged out twice, forced closed the app and rebooted my devices. I refuse to reinstall. When this happened 2 years ago with iceberries I lost my parks for over 2 weeks.
How about a Necco dragon -- breathing out little conversation hearts saying "Be Mine" "True Love" . . .

Maybe dellinda's Matching Trick (see above) of visiting Nogard's park would work to "hard start" the glitch without signing out. I'm going to try it next time that happens to me (probably tomorrow).
