I'm not sure I completely understand how the breeding of the Chrysalis dragons work... can someone read this over and correct me if I've made a mistake?
1. Chrysalis dragons don't behave like normal epics, so epic x chrysalis will NOT result in chrysalis dragons. You must buy to breed.
2. Chrysalis dragons x chrysalis dragons don't necessarily result in all 5 like with Snowflakes or Monoliths. You have to have a specific breeding pair to result in a specific dragon:
Marbletail + Chrysalis will result in a swallowtail but NOT either a marbletail or a chrysalis. (?)
3. Chrysalis dragons can be cloned by same x same. (??)
That's how I understand it now... if anyone has a different conclusion, please let me know!
I don't think Chrysaliseseses are special outside of their unusual combos. There's a bunch of people in the DVB group saying they cloned a Chrysalis with Dream, Lace, Ire, etc.

If that's the case, those of us collecting 2 of each dragon will be in for a very hard time. These are limited dragons, and if Chrysalis + <Any> can't give you a Chrysalis, then once the event is over there is no way to breed these additional dragons. Most of these events, you can get one of each dragon and over time build up a second and egg.
I'm really hoping Chrysalis + Marbletail = Swallowtail, Chrysalis, Marbletail or random element dragon.
I was wondering why that last 100 was proving more difficult and I kept thinking I was forgetting to do something ... and then it hit me-- the sandstorm trick! So here's the reminder for anyone else who might not be up to speed yet. Two sandstorms will give a sandstorm in 2 hours, 20 eggs, same time interval as the arena!

@bones I sure hope I'm wrong! It would be really helpful if they acted like regular epics. if I can't breed at least 1 or 2 of the new dragons I'll have to buy eggs to get everything I want. If someone is successful breeding a Chrysili from another epic please post on the forum!

I noticed the second tier includes the ovalith dragon and pedestal, I have the dragon but does that mean this dragon is breed able again right now and I could try for the pedestal to save having to purchase it?

I admit the tiered gift levels are highly annoying. Let us choose. Or make something a special limited offer if you want, but don't force us to buy something we don't want/need. It's annoying.
@bones I sure hope I'm wrong! It would be really helpful if they acted like regular epics. if I can't breed at least 1 or 2 of the new dragons I'll have to buy eggs to get everything I want. If someone is successful breeding a Chrysili from another epic please post on the forum!
I can confirm they do work like regular epics - I bought a Chrysalis in my main park and bred a Serenity with it from one of my little parks & on the third attempt got a Chrysalis clone. Haven't been as lucky in my other parks, so don't assume they will all come so quickly!
As it is my birthday month & we are going away on another holiday which will impact my collecting ability I will skip on ahead and buy more of the new dragons once doubles arrive (hopefully tonight!) I'll see if I can get the ones that will give us access to the others and try to reduce the cost burden on those less crazy with spending real money on pixels... and no hope this isn't an attempt by BFS to force us to the new game, because I will not be playing DV World and that's a promise!

I've done some digging on breeding the Chrysalis dragons, checking the DV Breeding Guide app. They can be cloned using epics at a 3% success rate, of course you can have long fails with Rainbows and DRs. They are saying that if you stick to breeding hints from BFS you still have the same 3% success rate, but have fewer fails.
Chrysalis (01:09:20:00): Swallowtail + Duskwing. - longest fails are parents or 14 hours Tree Duskwing (01:09:20:00):Lacewing + Chrysalis - longest fails are parents or 22 hour Arctic Lacewing (01:17:20:00) Duskwing + Marbletail -longest fails are parents or 14 hours Tree Swallowtail (01:17:20:00): Marbletail + Chrysalis - fails include Rainbow, DR, parents or Arctic Marbletail (02:02:40:00): Lacewing + Swallowtail - same fails as Swallowtail - but this is the gift in rotunda for the last day.
Bloodstone the Iridescent prize group is need 4. :-)
Also warrior612?? regarding the prize tiers and the Faire...my thought was that the Faire is a chance to get the things you couldn't get during prior events. So, it is set up differently than the events during the year. You also have a chance to get items from prior similar-themed events during the next year's event. It's the long game!

I quite like the tiers, actually. It gives me guidance at what to work towards. Disclaimer: I already had 7 of the items, so the Tiers are not too onerous for me.

Anyway, no crazy banking tricks to be had with the pachinko game. For anyone who was wondering, you get kicked out right away when you go over the limit. Not sure about the egg game yet.
The key to max that is "right away". Play it up to turn no. 8 (if you didn't get the gems) or 9 first. If you play turn no. 10 with 2 eggs to go and it turns out a 20, 18 of those go to the bank. Of course you'll be told you're over the limit.

I will also confirm this works as I have bred two Chrysalis with the Ire dragon from noodles...in about four tries. I'll share mine as well.

Well, meeting the daily limit is pretty hard (I want to bank the eggs from the 5th try of arena).
