Not to sound stupid but are you saying that if you save banked rings untill the end you get to keep them all? Or are you saying till the next day?
Think that every reset is like a floodgate. If you hit the day's limit and then collect your gifts, the rings will stay in your social menu - call it a reservoir. But as soon as a reset happens, the gate is open again. If you collect your gifts, the rings go to your counter.
So what we do - the community anyway - is hit the ceiling BEFORE we collect our gifts and keep the rings in the social menu. They help top up in the end, and any extras go to dragon treats.
By some freak accident, I got 1152 today. I hope it's triples tomorrow...
And since my Friends List was blocked for most of the session, I can't report anything about cooperative arena gifting.

Im still not really sure how the arena works; I've got various amounts all day and am still sorting it out. When 4 elements are given and I select them all, there's no dragons on my side (in parks with all the dragons). So, the lightbulb went off and i found if I can supply a dragon with 3 of the four elements and use one of the Wizards dragon for the last element, I've won each time. Or two from me and 2 from a friend. Anybody know how it works?
How many flag people have you found other than the ones you had already?

You know, sometimes I get really annoyed to live on the other side of the world from BF Studios because the timing means that I go to bed before any of the events start and I feel like I miss out on a lot of fun speculation and discovery with everyone in the forum.
At the same time, I usually check here before even opening the game on new event day because you guys have done all the work and figured everything out already! So thanks for that! ;p

Anyone have any luck breeding an event dragon yet (Fate Dragon excluded)? If so, what combo did you use?
Wondering if I can get the Hidden Bolt Dragon via the CoOp by breeding it with Wrath/Dark/etc., or if it has to be like x like.
I *think* it's going to be only Like x Like until the event ends.
the house mascot dragons are limiteds (specials) and therefore can only be bred using two of the same (so you need to buy one of every one except the house you choose) and then co-op breed them with someone else's. However the Olympus dragons are epics (and while the Fate dragon can be outright bred using any dragons with plant, fire, and water --bouquet dragon this is your time to shine), and therefore can be bred at any point with the CBC, even after they expire or if you don't unlock them. I'm sure they will be extremely hard to bred though. I don't think we will even know the elements they contribute when breeding (and thus which breeding partner is the best epic to breed with it) for awhile...koala to everyone for this event! We're in it for the long haul. I can't wait for the monument of the epics. And the extra island will be nice for some more much needed space.

Well, something strange just happened... I experienced the usual diminishing returns for DC and collected a total of 40 rings this morning until I eventually wasn't getting any at all (from DC). I assumed from this that the DC ring total was 40. I've been collecting DC all day with no new rings. Just now when I went back in I suddenly started getting rings from DC again, as if they had been refreshed. Anyone else see this?
I didn't have occasion to notice it, but the ring collection from the parade (which basically functions like a habitat that produces rings rather than coins or gems) wasn't working initially, yet now it is. They might have had to reset habitat collection for the day in order to get it working right,
I think this must be what happened. I was able to collect my parade rings shortly afterward.

wow! That's great! But I don't imagine glass/sand would work for the rising sun or whatever earth + light is called. Nor ice/iceberg for icy torrent...but maybe! Otherwise, using firework, darkling, and thorn is a great idea. I never would have thought of that. That's why I love this forum.

hahaha success! Pixie better love the twin thorns, I got one on the first try as well and now have the timer for the iron blossom. Hidden bolt is back to being blue-hearted. Amazing!

I don't know - I matched up all elements with mid range dragons (16-19) and only got 50 rings.
I'm feeling pretty good about my chances to get everything.
I already had about half the prizes, and now, having bred Fates and Iron Blossom, and with having Hidden Bolt and one of the new Olympus dragons as rewards at some point, I'm down to needing 87745 Rings to get one of everything else.
I'm liking this event, I hope I can keep the interest up for 2 months though.

I got Thorn first, then Iron Blossom. I thought I would try for the pedestal, but it's another Thorn.
I think the trick is that Thorn and Darkling are limited expired elemental dragons. So, when Firework goes BOOM FIZZ out of the market, it should work too. Unfortunately there aren't any limiters that match the other 2 House dragons.

All the new dragons hve mention of their elements, meaning you can breed them. Anybody tried already ?
