I went with the Blazing Gale House because I liked their mascot dragon the most. LOL. That and all the houses show a score of 8/10 to unlock their gold prize tier.

House Stark all the way; Winter has Come ( to NZ anyway) and I like their prizes more than the others And I'm with somedaymomy re hating the heat of summer: give me fires and mulled wine and wooly jersey's and skiing any day
I went for Icy Torrent. With my daughter Blazing Gale house, it's kind a Stark/Targaryen thing! XD
I totally thought of House Tyrell with Iron Blossom (growing stronger, the roses) and actually got a little bit of House Greyjoy vibe with the icy torrent (we never sink = we never sow, just the whole water aspect). Love how much topical humor influences the game and how many references BFS can incorporate.
Is there an "Undecided House" option? I can't decide! Haha

Did you decide? I finally picked Mountain Sun! I was deciding between that one and Iron Blossom but since I breed Iron Blossom already I'm left with Mountain Sun! I'm so glad I waited!

I went with Blazing Gale for the same reason - I think that dragon is beautiful. I do like the others, just not as much as I love this one! And, as I looked at the Gold Tier for each house, there wasn't a house that had anything I wanted/needed other than one of the limited Oly dragons. My kids were pulling for Iron Blossom thinking she was pretty - but I just bred one of those, so they still get to see the 'pretty' dragon.

I just chose hidden bolt. I couldn't ignore the harry potter feel and just went for it.

Yes! I can totally see where you are coming from! I chose for the overall Harry Potter feel, not the Gryffindor feel. But you are true in saying that blazing fire has that Gryffindor feel to it. I can already hear the sorting hat say Gryffindor in your house and Slytherin for mine... Yaiks!

exactly! Great call. I also love the "notable alumni" of the houses, like T. Erra (terra-earth) and Tsu Ni (sunny) for mountain sun, Shi Nee (shiny) and Verdant Thumb (green thumb) for iron blossom, and Pi Roh (pyro) for blazing gale. Plus the incorporation of the different holiday wizards to represent entire houses of dragons was really great; that was one of my favorite things from last year's faire: each section was like a mix of reminiscing about the best parts of old events while getting some new items that fit their themes as well.

Ugh no we don't need another baby lotus, do we? I have switched side, baby Icy Torrent is adorable. It's like another version of baby Lotus.
