has anyone succesufully bred one of the old dragons yet? my eye is on the bone/ghost/trick/etc so i dont have to buy them and i have more candy for the new dragons
Yep. I have bred both bone and ghost, while I was trying for others. Once you get them, you tend to keep getting them.
Did anyone else's game reach the limit early today? Instead of going to 3175, it got to 2723 and told me I had reached my daily max. Not happy.
Did you buy anything with candies? Hmmm. That number seems wrong, all the prize prices are in multiples of 5. I would contact BFS thru your Park (Options/Email Support). It helps if you can take a screenshot of the confusing message - probably too late now? Then when they email you back you can include the pic in your reply.

Could you please update that information post to say what happens to your game centre friends (I have about a 100) if you are on iOS 9 and you bind your park to Facebook?
I think I'm in that position onejoebloggs: still ios9, updated DV to current iteration (ooo), and followed the prompts re FB, now able to collect fb gem rewards and all friends present and correct w names, no personalised icons tho, and only one secret admirer ( olds' nomenclature ) All info given w best intent but no responsibility taken until at least 2 others verify
I will confirm, too. They show after you logout/login to FB in Social every time you login thru GameCenter (You only have to FB bind once after GC login if you have only one park).
i was thinking that having us all connect thru FB might have one advantage - we could advise our Friends when we need to temporarily be away from our parks.

Did you use any of your candies to purchase an item? If you did not use any of your candies, then the maximum total as of yesterday would be 3175 candies (1150+2025). I track my daily maximum total using notes ( iOS) to remind me what is the total maximim candies that I need to hit for the day . This reminds me to stop collecting the candies before I hit the max so that I can Play the last round of the game gallery in order to store those candles in excess of the daily max allowed , then collect the candies from the arena competition which are also stored and finally I give /collect the gifts from friends .
Plant/Earth would be Garden, Earth/Plant/Cold for Thicket
(or Fire/Earth/Cold for Decay, but I doubt it's that one)

so odd, I was playing on my old iPad that I don't update and heard the Game Center sound of a friend request. I jumped because I thought Game Center was gone until I realized I was on my old iPad. People had sent me requests to play certain games that I don't have. It gave me the option to download the app. Thus, some people are still using Game Center and developers have implemented a way to invite friends.

Yesterday was 1000 plus 100 for the tutorial plus 50 from the Hall of Hallows for a total of 1150. The 100 + 50 did not count toward your 1000. Today is doubles, so 2000, plus 25 from the Hall of Hallows for a total of 2025. If you haven't spent any Candies at the end of today you should have 3175 Candies.

During Events we have found it wise not to spend the Event currency right away as BFS tends to surprise us with an unexpected Dragon that is only available for a limited time. In other words, HOARD! Many also believe it is best when you do start your purchases to buy one (1) of each Dragon first, before Decorations, etc, that way you may be able to breed a second or the Egg Pedestal without having to spend Event currency on them. More Event currency at the end means being able to afford more of the prizes 'cause let's face it, just one of the Wisp Lanterns is not going to be enough!

Hm, it appears that dragons like Portent and Dream don't work to contribute all of the elements in a set now... must have been a glitch that's been since fixed.
But! I've got a Nosferatu timer in the cave, which is very exciting, as someone who got Bone and Ghost almost a year ago during BEB...

This is a good reminder for long-time players who have a very short memory (looking in the mirror here). I purchased a second Spooky habitat so that I could continue with setting up my Halloween island before it's time to tear it down & start on Christmas decorating. The Eerie theme was next on my list, but maybe I should save my candies for a while just in case that unexpected limited dragon does show up. Thank goodness, the only dragons I need are the brand new ones, so not too much stress this event, such a nice change. Wishing everyone lots of koala!

Just go to someone's park, click on the party hats, one of the hats will give you 5 candies in addition to the DC (during doubles, it would be 10 candies per park visited.
I wonder if having a doubles weekend first weekend means we are going to get 2 in this short event? Or if this is All She Wrote?
Wow! You're the first person I've heard using that phrase since my Daddy died! I use it sometimes, but get blank looks. He used to say it as part of a longer phrase, '"Dear Gussie"......that's all she wrote', and the two halves of the phrase could be used interchangeably with the same meaning. Do you know where it comes from? It always sets me to imagining possible stories......

Hmm. To make room for habitats I think I will sell some of my Huge Rainbow habitats.

Is it just me, or are the prize pumpkins getting better at finding good hiding spots?
The first two days they were practically out in the open for anyone to see. Today I had to move rocks, trees, and even a few of the habitats in order to find them all.

When you go into Path Mode to make Habs and decs transparent it's easier to spot those sneaky pumpkins. Then memorize the position, get out of Path Mode, and tap the punkin right thru the obstacle!
I got a freebie today - before I started hunting I put my finger down to move the Island and heard Whitbee's laughter right under my fingertip!
