Did anyone else's game reach the limit early today? Instead of going to 3175, it got to 2723 and told me I had reached my daily max. Not happy.
Did you use any of your candies to purchase an item? If you did not use any of your candies, then the maximum total as of yesterday would be 3175 candies (1150+2025). I track my daily maximum total using notes ( iOS) to remind me what is the total maximim candies that I need to hit for the day . This reminds me to stop collecting the candies before I hit the max so that I can Play the last round of the game gallery in order to store those candles in excess of the daily max allowed , then collect the candies from the arena competition which are also stored and finally I give /collect the gifts from friends .
Wow! You're the first person I've heard using that phrase since my Daddy died! I use it sometimes, but get blank looks. He used to say it as part of a longer phrase, '"Dear Gussie"......that's all she wrote', and the two halves of the phrase could be used interchangeably with the same meaning. Do you know where it comes from? It always sets me to imagining possible stories......

Since Dad was a WWII vet, that makes sense. Although I had imagined Gussie was a girl, it could as easily be an affectionate diminutive for Gus. How hard it must have been, both for the recipient and the sender, when affection from overseas was so craved and V-Mail took soooo long. I know how reassuring it was for my grandson and his wife to be able to Skype when he was in Afghanistan.

Mods/anyone: with the updates I can only send gems from three of my parks. I play multiple parks on the same device, and I am wondering if I send gems to different players is there a chance I could send gems from all of my parks?
With all the difficulties I am having crashing etc, I doubt I will be spending any real money on this or any future events. I once lost my primary park for over a year. I have been using my iPhone 6S without issues until the Game Center changes and DV updates.
BFS have changed the gifting system so that you can only gift gems from a max of 3 parks, per device. It took me ages to figure this out, to the point where I emailed them. Gifting all of my friends from my multiple parks could be done in 15 mins, but now it takes me over an hour; I'm lucky because my children have iPads, but I have to actually devote time to this exercise now....
Breeding Target: Ovalith. It's ALWAYS Ovalith! Hoarded gems as a safety net to ensure an Ovalith during BEB, but I'm not sure if I want to spend them: I think I want the thrill of breeding it! Gems wasted on speeding up Ovalith breeding/incubation: 2890
During Events we have found it wise not to spend the Event currency right away as BFS tends to surprise us with an unexpected Dragon that is only available for a limited time. In other words, HOARD! Many also believe it is best when you do start your purchases to buy one (1) of each Dragon first, before Decorations, etc, that way you may be able to breed a second or the Egg Pedestal without having to spend Event currency on them. More Event currency at the end means being able to afford more of the prizes 'cause let's face it, just one of the Wisp Lanterns is not going to be enough!
Omg, I wish I'd read this early. Just bought my first Ortreat dragon and I'm down to 170 candy. (spent on a Wailing Well, Garden Pedestal and a Spooky Habitat) I better start saving for this mysterious unexpected dragon. xD
I just hearted my new bog dragon. Does anyone know what epic dragon I can bred it with? I just read that you can't invite friends through Game Center any more. Is this a permanent change? You have to use Facebook now. That is going to be a problem for me, since I don't want a Facebook account.

The only way to get a second Bog is to breed Bog x Bog in the coop, an epic won't work. It's a Limited Hybrid without a breeding combo.

Hmm, no update on the sandbox and incorrect info on the dragonbreed app; just tried a one off speed breed of garden w garden, as the dragonbreed app said '100%'... It's not! Got some kind of fail cooking sigh Back to trying for the dangerously urbane Nosferatu lol ( thanks Goldenfire

(That was before the event ended, at which time we could use the Twilight Tower to have lycan change forms) On a side note, anyone care to wager if we'll have a limited weekend dragon (i.e. Pharaoh, tidal, muse, surprise)? It wasn't in the app update description but we typically see one, even for small events...

Let's think about this a minute, splash sceen announcing Event said, 'Something spooky this way comes...' New dragons = GARDEN - spooky? Not even close. BOG - spooky? Not quite, more like damp. DECAY - spooky? Gross! It's decaying! THICKET - spooky? Closer but more like knarly. Limited spooky dragon still to come? A given!

Thanks Jade, I am wondering if sending an email to BFS informing of the unfairness of this new rule would perhaps cause a rethink and change in decision. Although a newer iPad would also fix this too! And it is only gems from 3 parks, I am able to send food from all 5. The 5 parks belonged to family members who have all lost interest, but of course I still enjoy the game so adopted all. So for me this appears like another way to encourage real money spending!
I am wondering how many of the new dragons and decorations I will be able to collect this event without purchasing candy or gems? And I am a hoarder so I generally wait until the end of the event just in case something limited this way comes 🕸🎃

It's a little annoying to me that Spectre and Lycan are still only like X like breed-able, when they were breed-able during BEB last winter. I feel like once you make it an open combo, you should always have them breed-able during their limited window.

I thought that I was the only one who played the unused parks of family members! It's nice to know that I'm not alone! The gifting has something to do with the new ease of creating new parks, so as to limit the amount of gems we could potentially send ourselves. I would have been happier to keep park creation difficult, in order to be able to gift all at once. But that's just me

They also mentioned somewhere(can't remember where) the "terrifying conclusion" which I was trying to figure out what that could mean. Maybe a dragon?

Since the Garden Dragon has the same elements as the Moss Dragon, I would expect that you would have similar fails clone breeding Garden: Forest (4 hr), Moss (12 hr), Motley (13 hr), Tree (14 hr).

Also, any advice on what to breed? I'm all caught up on old dragons, and don't have the new to try for yet. I've got bonexbone in the CBC trying for a twin, sandstormxsandstorm in the cave for regular breeding for treats, and no idea what to stick in the island!

Good idea, I think I'm still getting a few gemstone goals even though I've got them all. And since the hibernation cave upgrade, I can stick them there if I don't need them!
