Kraken is one of the sale dragons today, only 625 Gems which is 75% off its regular price. It is actually cheaper than buying its egg at 675 Gems. Weird!
Mine says 2500 gems. Probably because I don't have one yet.

I have not succesfully bred the kraken yet, and at my market it costs 625 gems "on sale". So that can't be the reason

sorry Cyn. It went on sale during my individual weekend thingy. However, after breeding countless 49 min and 1hr 10 min dragons when I switch them up I finally got not one but 2 of them. My weekend event is breeding so they end up being 16hr 30min instead of 33 hr. Which is an added bonus. Thank you for your suggestions. I think you saw the sale before due to time zones. I'm US Pacific time.

Is it just me but they changed the daily limit to 4000 me? Its a welcome suprise buy stil not enough to get all the dragons and there enchanted versions
Also does someone knows what happend with the market?? I think its bugged and broken. It only shows sigil stone and mini vortex after 17 tries a few others came up but well for most it was just those two. Also it seems you can't buy stuff anymore you need for your airship at that time. Well i hope they will fix it cause i need petrified water and cant get it myself.

During the DV events BFS routinely has "Doubles Weekend(s)" - and so it's no surprise they are doing this in DVW as well Earnings are doubled, the cap is doubled, and ME purchases in the store (for $) are doubled - but only for a limited time.
The number of weekends and the duration of the doubles varies from event to event but usually 1 and sometime 2 or even 3 for the really long events, and 3 or 4 days. DV has a countdown timer letting you know how long this will last in the news section, DVW's set of timers is along the RHS with the "SALE!" icons. As of this post, there is about 2 days and 1 hour left - so 10 a.m. Monday, 12/26 BFS time (which is in Boulder, CO, USA - Mountain Time, or UMT - 7).
For quick reference there is a Data and Time listed in the upper right corner of the posts (below the big list of Admins, Moderators, Past Moderators and Forum Co-founders) which tells you what day and time it is in BFS land

I was reviewing my end game strategy and made an interesting observation.....
Looking through the Time Limited book of the Dragonarium, North, South, East, West, Festive and Eve are all time limited (yeah, we know that, right?). BUT...EnSouth, EnEast, EnWest and EnEve do NOT show up as time limited....EnNorth and EnFestive do show up as time limited.
I just thought I'd point that out 'cause I felt it took some of the pressure off me working for all those pesky enchanteds on a time limit.
Edit... Never mind, I spoke too soon, they all show up as time limited in the Enchanted Book in the Dragonarium.

I just made level 50 and although I haven't spent any additional money, I'm now a Tier 5. I just got a "Special Offer" to purchase a vault of 3,625 gems for $74.99 (real money), They're delusional if they think that I'd even consider doing that,
Arg, only need the enchanted west! Don't think I'm lucky enough to breed it, and only got 20.276 magic :/ And the magic is really expensive to buy!
You still have today and tomorrow to get it. West x EnNorth is a good combo. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
And only able to get 4499? magic. 20276+4499=24775. So not that much magic essence, and maybe a more acceptable price, if I'm not lucky. But until then, west+ENnorth, both lvl 20 (don't know if lvl matters)
Ended up using 89 dkkr (12,57 in US $ ), on getting the needed magic for the last dragon... If the event returns with the same dragons, I'm gonna be mad ONLY did it because I only needed one of the dragons, and got most of the magic essens.
Now I wont use money on the game for the next couple of months

Great, just discovered that the countdown at the right side, was the x2 magic weekend, and that I had 1 more day to get 2000 more magic...
My timer shows 2 hours left of doubles, so it will end at reset today afaik. Not sure about the 'leave your game open to extend doubles' feature for DVW, but I would ask Mr. Bones if he tried (he seems to have tried a bit of everything)

Congratulations on getting that last dragon anyway
Also, after the end of the event there is a grace period to select prizes. After that, any remaining magic is converted into dragon food. And there's no such thing as having too much dragon food.
