So, I haven't tried this yet...do I need leave the park open after reset (like all day) to keep the triples? I generally open my park right after reset and am in it for at least 30 min, but have the tendency to close the game when I am done...today will open it just before and will try to remember to keep it open if necessary.
You only need to leave the park open until you have collected 3000 iceberries. Or, as in my case, until the game throws you out. I often get booted before I finish collecting all the extras, but I usually manage some and that's worth the effort that's for sure.
I got a panlong dragon as my gift dragon. Maybe it's not exactly the one I would have chosen, but since BFS is not required by law to give me a free dragon I am grateful for it. I try to never look a gift dragon in the mouth. I think they spit fire so it's probably best not to look any dragon in the mouth. Nobody needs seared eyeballs.

dp ⭐️🌟✨ 5 mins before reset start the app. Then try to max out by doing all the things that normally earn iceberries, without visiting friends' parks, and I would wait to breed dragons in the CBC last. Stay in until you get 3000 as cynmed said (remembering to bank still, and if you have Kairos's power saved up, now would be a great time to utilize it) but if you can't earn all 3000, you can start collecting friends' gifts from the social menu, as it will allow you to possibly get over the 7000 limit we have from banking at the end of the event. koala!
Thank you! I used kairos yesterday to clear out my clogged nursery, lol., but have plenty in the gift menu, so will resort to that if I cannot get 3,000.
Chilly Chronograph has a screw loose! The park that started it all in my family....bluekittycat10- my daughter's park that I started 'helping with' and now manage since she got an android phone-is level 88 and has 306/322 dragons...got a THISTLE dragon. Yes, a regular, 3hr dragon! NachoKitty- me- also level 88, got a Butterfly which had somehow eluded me, so that's okay, but Thistle? Arghhh! Shaking fist in air....Kahn!! (sry, been watching Voyager marathon...)
If I haven't gotten 3000 berries yet (2409) but it reset so I don't get triples, do I have to leave my game open? Will it continue to let me collect to 3000?
update: I collected about 800 berries from my gifts to make it to 3000. Once I finish the challenge, hopefully 100 will go back into my gifts. It's a good day:) Now I will purchase an event dragon without any worries.

I tried opening the game before restart, left it open and started collecting triples, then got booted out after collecting about 600 ice berries. When I returned a minute later triples was gone and I was down to 98 berries. So no extra day of triples for me. Can't say I didn't try, though.

Epoch was my gift. Blew through 1000 gems and got a twin snowapcolypse. But after 4 more Auroras for a total of 8 this bring Em back, I'm done going for another epoch. Screw it.

Big THANK YOU for the twin Epoch! (And the twin Faire, I needed one!) I haven't been able to breed a one. I did get one from BFS and a twin from figment-jil (THANKS!) and even breeding my freebies together I can't seem to get an egg. I'm not giving up though!
THANKS to all who have been sending me twins and Iceberries! You guys rock! BFS should consider virtual snowballs for the next winter event. A snowball fight would be beyond cool!

Prior to this event I had exactly 0 auroras, so I was ecstatic over my first, still thrilled with my second, thought well okay with my third, my fourth thought well I guess I can make a pedestal, fifth I was like well at least they earn a lot, then the twins came, my first twin I was like well now I can check that off, but my twin 3 I have to say umm please please please stop now lol
Me thinks the rate to give unwanted higher breeding time epics may have been shifted up this bring em back. PTHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Actually you can visit friends parks and keep the 3000 window open when you return. It surprised me, but I've done it several times. However I do play on android devices.
A few days before Snowpocalypse was released, I got the quest for it. This morning I got a quest for the nova dragon (divine starshine), so I guess we have another galactic on the way
