I'm really annoyed by my lack of luck. I'm using Level 20 dragons and haven't bred a single dragon that I need. If I want to feel stressed out and frustrated all the time, there are plenty of other games I could waste my time on.
Two more Ghost dragons. I got six during Whitbee's Candy Bash and three during BEB. I started making pedestals with them once I got number seven, and I suppose I'll do the same with these two because their eggs make nice decorations for my Halloween/fall themed island. Have to try and make the best of a bad situation, you know.
Also whining because I've yet to acquire Bloom and Sakura.
Ooooooo!! That's a great idea! Wish I had thought of using Ghost eggs for decorations before I sold them all!
With the demise of game centre I just started in FB to be able to friend people from this forum and join in on the fun. Please message me if you want to send a friend request so I know to watch for you😊, I never check FB otherwise. I'm deleting random requests way too many of those 😮.

You genuinely crack me up. Almost every post is a complaint and yet you have been playing this game for as many years as I have. Come on, admit it - you must really enjoy it on some level.
It reminds me of how I react to my cell phone. All I do is complain about it but I use it constantly. My wife is starting to call me Eeyore.

Me too! I was breeding for Portent and the only propitious timer I got turned out a Dream.
Now I got a Muse timer but wanna bet it's going to be a Sprout?
And oh, I caved and finally bought a Snowpocalypse - couldn't get it.
As long as BFS doesn't put a new limited out there, I think I'll have enough to get everything -- using my banked iceberries. But they'll probably spring a limited dragon on us and then I'll have to re-assess.
I figure I'll choose the Ribbon Dragon as my last gift, because it's the most expensive one.

Me too, berries spent on snowpocalypse. Not going to have quite enough to get everything else now...oh well will have to coop breed something!
Me too. Was getting so stressed out about this event .. hadn't gotten one thing in BEB that I needed, completely unsuccessful w/ Snowpocalypse and other breeding. Then decided to breathe deeply and just spend the ice berries. B/c DV is supposed to be for fun and relaxation .. not an additional stressor.
Oh .. and then I spent some saved up gems on Holly & Faire pedestals .. I've been trying to breed those since Day 1 of BEB - no luck.
Still conflicted about what else to try for in BEB. I looked at all the combos for things I need like Celtic .. it seems like a virtual impossibility to get anything. So .. just trying to remain Zen .. if I get something, I get it. If not, maybe when they come around again in the cycle.
I've done the math and I **think** I'll have enough to get the rest of the event dragons (good reminder from @sweetnjmom to save Ribbon for the gift at the end).

I have pretty much everything I wanted in terms of Frosty Jubilee prizes. I got Snowpocalypse, Ornamental, Flicker, Tinsel, Dazzling and Thundersnow. I'm getting Snowbrush on the last day as my freebie. Now all I need is to collect a few more ice berries and purchase the ice berry path and a dragonsai bush.

Congrats to all those who have been lucky and are getting dragons they need. I was trying for the last two weeks for the last dragon i needed, Dusk. Two weeks of fails using lev 20 dragons and switched to lev 4 Sun and Moon and have gotten two Dusks so far in the past week.
13 Auroras this year during BEB including 2 twins while my Snowpocalypse was blue hearted - thanks all for the many twins. Took a screen shot a week ago with 5 Aurora eggs in my nursery so I'm very much looking forward to BEB wrapping up.
I guess I count myself as one of the lucky ones, but not entirely sure that is correct because, percentage-wise, I needed well over 100 dragons at the start of the BeB/event (I think), so my luck may just be because I needed so many. 😬 That said, I managed, as of today, to get 48 new-to-me dragons, not including the new event dragons or the prize tier dragons that I did not have already and purchased with berries, or the two free dragons we have had so far.
So, happy camper here. On that...
All of a sudden, after playing off and on all day, I can't visit any GC friends. I get an error saying eveoryone is on a newer version, but when Insay get the new version, it takes me to the appstore, but the button there says "open" not "update". If I go to the appstore directly (outside of the game) there is no update either, lol. So, I've powered off my device, which did not solve it...then I deleted the app from my device and shut down, wich also did not help.
Anyone have any other ideas to try? I have sent an email to BFS, but since their volume of emails is really high right now, I thought I would ask here. Will also check out the technical thread I think I saw once. 😂☺

I have the same plane, and that is with my current haul and having used berries for last 3 limited items without eggs. My BeB for most part has been failsauce, so spent 1500 gems to buy a few I need. Really tried for Muse dragon though

Sorry, bit new to this - is the last gift (with the 3 egg icon) the choice of any of the event dragons you wish, or are you talking about the wish that is in the opening sequence that we get if we play every day?

I thought I checed for that earlier, but am now not sure I checked on this device, lol, will check that now. though, I did get a response from BFS which was the same as posted by Glade Maid above, so there is apparently some issue.

You can go ahead and click on that 3 egg icon now and it lists the event dragons you can choose from.

Same issue. I'm on an iPhone SE, up to date on iOS as well as Dragonvale app. I don't personally need the extra berries, but I imagine this issue is causing some people grief.
ETA I was able to visit Nogard, but no actual players.

Kind of mixing threads, but as this issue was raised on this thread, adding my data; still on iOS 9, cannot visit other than Nogard and that gave no berries; same message; tried my niece who I know has NOT upgraded to iOS 10 or 'a newer version of dv', and cannot visit her park either, so ? Therefore it's a glitch.
I also couldn't visit my friends as the game said something about newer version and offered to upgrade it. But my Google Play didn't have a new version for DV. Weird.
