I'm staring to feel like this event needs to end haha. I'm running out of gems and tired of the failsauce with the breeding attempts. Anyone else feeling this way?

I have been slowly but fairly steadily getting the dragons I am *Really* after and a few I just want. Oh and of course Lots and Lots of Auroras and Motleys. Lots.
What is being served in that Other lounge? Sparking Cider and Strawberries? Mmm.

*Whew!* (Sit back and relax, and enjoy the game!)
Need a Hand? (Some elder / long-time members re-do the dragons vicariously through the CBC with new(er) Players
These are in addition to the social clubs / comedy clubs / crafting clubs / art clubs et. al. that are always open and always welcoming. We have an awesome community, that's for sure!
Going from lounge to lounge is A LOT of fun! As much as a relief it is to be in the Whine Lounge, leaving is even better

I think I remember reading something from someone wanting breeding times - regular and reduced by 20%. I found this old thread: dragonvale-tips.proboards.com/thread/313/upgraded-breeding-caves-new-times. Fletch worked on it and it hasn't been updated for awhile. I used it alot for a long time but not so much anyhmore. I use the sandbox like someone else suggested.
I keep meaning to update that. But things get added faster than I can catch up!

Sorry for the confusion with my Chilly Chronograph post. Yes, I was remembering the event where the calendar ended on one day and the next day it disappeared and not everyone had collected all of their gifts. Nice to see BFS leave it up to give players a chance for a little housekeeping.
I hope everyone has been able to get all or most of the event prizes. Still time left! For you newbies you can collect up to 1000 Iceberries a day from your Gifts menu to spend on the prizes.
Having one Wish in my well and a while before I earn the next, I decided to save it rather than use it to buy the 17th Island. Since I had bought Island 16 just before the Event started and used DC to clear it my cupboards were bare. I forgot just how long it took to save up 10 billion in DragonCash! At 7.6 billion right now and still slogging through it. Hopefully will get there before any spring event and be able to redecorate the two new Islands and redo my entire park. I am thinking maybe a complete LOTR theme. Might be fun!
I'm really annoyed by my lack of luck. I'm using Level 20 dragons and haven't jbred a single dragon that I need. If I want to feel stressed out and frustrated all the time, there are plenty of other games I could waste my time on.

I ended up with two new islands. Wished for the $10 billion one and spent $6 billion on Island 14.
I'm going to use colored cubes to decorate on the "entrance" Island and move most of the stuff on that island to the new one, I think.

UPDATE: thanks for that tip! I was able to purchase another twinkle. I thought when they were blacked out, you couldn't buy anymore. I wish I could use all of my berries and buy a gang of twinkles lol

*headscratch* None of the epics up in my co-op cave were super interesting (okay, twinkle was, but I wouldn't have anywhere to put it) so bred my fire with someone's epoch to go fishing for a paper dragon. Check the resultant time against a breeding calculator... and I got a lodestone? What? Is epoch carrying metal as a recessive gene or something? >-> (It's possible I misclicked on what co-op dragon I used, but the sandbox calculator is showing metal hybrids as potential results for the combo too...)

My reward was a twin decay dragon... um.. ok.... lol... Now that is pretty random! Teach me to have all the dragons already
