Question about the Omnitats: how do you guys decide which dragons should go in there? Do you decide based on a money-making strategy or something else? Would love input as I can't decide what to put in there!
I use them to replace bad normal habitats that can barely hold any DC. That way I have more room for epics.
I've sold all my plant, lightning, fire, and water habitats. Whenever I need a specific dragon for breeding or questing or whatever, the Omnitat provides.
Ohh! I really like this! I had already cut back to one plant for the same reason and didn't think to just replace it with an Omnitat! Thank you! Too bad they got rid of the friends center as I would love to peek into your park with its lack of normal habitats!

I replaced 7 Rainbow habitats with the 4 Omnitats as the Rainbow habitats only hold 2 dragons, so that freed up 7 habitats for 4&5 slot habitats.
Plus I put my Stonehearts in there, as there are 7 Aura dragons and only 2x6-slot Aura habitats.
Ah definitely something to consider as my rainbow habitats have overrun a whole island! Thanks magpac!

I put my four element rares in them - epoch, leathery, wyrmwood, cotton, garland, panlong, paper, leathery, fiare, and neoteric And, then I put all 10 boosts on the same island.
The income rate says one thing, but I get a LOT more.
For example in my 1 omnitat, i have 2 level 18 epochs, 1 lvl 18 cotton, and 1 lvl 19 wyrmwood. The income rates per minute on the pop-up window are: 435, 435, 404, and 438, respectively. So this means I should get 1712 per minute from the omnitat. But I actually get around 4000/minute from that habitat.
Somebody wrote a post about this (I don't think it was on this forum) a while ago, and that is where i've put my high 4 element rares ever since.
I don't bother boosting any of my regular elemental habitats because I can't possible collect all the money in time anyhow.
Thanks for sharing this!! I wonder why that is but I'm about to see if it works in my park!

Re boosting: a while back one of our esteemed ( and I think now -hopefully temporarily- absent) esteemed elder wizards wrote that the boosts no longer need to be on the island you want affected, I've they affect your whole park now.... But that may have changed since I read it, about 2 Yrs ago... DV wiki can prob definitively give the good oil *ahem, sorry* dragon fire on that factoid 😁

When this Twinkle gets wings, I only miss Fluorescent. Trying hard but also waiting for BFS to put up a new dragon. If I only for a moment could see the smoke in the chimney, it would remind me of times gone when I had them all. Can you hear a slight whining in what I write? (Then I have been able to express myself in this foreign language.)

They changed boosts to not give negative income to opposites, but as far as I can see they still only modify one island.

Looks like I am getting a Snowy Silver Dragon and now I have 2 timers incubating for 24 hours so 1 is either a Winter Dragon or a Rainbow (so happy either way) and the other is either a Seasonal or a Rainbow (so again happy either way).
Can't wait to have my park hit 21 so I can start working on Light Dragons. Hoping I can eventually get a Sun or Moon dragon. Moonstruck is being stuck up and not wanting to show her face in my park still.
The timer in my news menu shows the event ending in 2 days ?
Yeah, I'm confused too. The social menu news says it ends in 2 days. But the prize "Bouquet Boutique" has a 4 day timer. Does that mean we can only collect roses from our banked social menu for another 2 days? Yet we still have an additional 2 days to spend them. Seems like they are trying to stifle the banking a bit.

I want to thank everyone for their kindness in helping me through my first event here. I am guessing that Easter will be the next event? I have hatched my double rainbow dragon. I like where I placed him right next to the aura habitat so it looks like he is throwing up colors onto the habitat that makes it so colorful.... Also one of the other eggs is done incubating so now I have a Rainbow Dragon waiting to hatch!! Super pumped. I didn't get all the Valentine Dragons (most just missing Rosegold, Cuddleheart, and Surprise) but I think I did pretty good for my first go round.
Are events sort of on a normalized rotation or do you get a few surprise events thrown in from time to time?
Sorry one more newb question... What is the first upcoming event that will offer an ability for a newb to increase his epic dragons past level 10?

There are almost no surprises. There's a Valentine's event, an Easter event, a long summer event, a Halloween event, a Thanksgiving mini-event (without event currency), a Winter event + Bring 'em Back, and that's it.
The only exception was Star Fall in 2015. Nobody saw that one coming. And I guess the dark/light event in 2013, but that was the very first one... before they had a schedule and a formula.

Quick Question If I have all the event dragons, and then purchase a second dragon with roses will that dragon be a twin?

no. The only twins we get from BFS are the gift ones, such as the daily gifts (if you have at least one dragon, twin or non twin, of every kind that's in the category, I.e. I had one of every epic so when they gifted us a free epic dragon, mine was a random twin epic I didn't have) or the event calendar free dragon at the end, which we already collected. I'm glad they are giving us twins! Helps the collection.
