I got a stoneheart first try by breeding my meloncholy with someone's stoneheart. It indeed works!!

Stoneheart is an epic Aura dragon and can be cloned by any of your dragons with a Stoneheart in social. That's always been the case.

To the people who are getting dragons such as Cuddlewing from social, they were breeding their Cuddlewing with someone else's non-Cuddlewing. I'm guessing the current rebreed button that is buggy allowed that to occur, actually breeding their Cuddlewing with another Cuddlewing.

I did not clone a stoneheart. I used my meloncholy with someone else's stoneheart in the coop. People were wondering if it was possible to breed the new event dragons. I posted to let everyone know indeed, it is possible. Noodles used an iridescent and cuddlewing and got a cuddlewing. I haven't heard of any other event dragons being bred. I haven't had any issues with my button.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I didn't mean using a Stoneheart + Stoneheart. Any epic + a different epic in the social breeding cave can create either of those epics. This is true even for new event dragons, if they are epics. Stoneheart is an epic, so if a friend has one you can get it by using any of your epics + their Stoneheart and having a lot of luck, such as your Melancholy.

The Cuddlewing is different It is not an epic, and shouldn't be able to be an option when you breed with anything other than another Cuddlewing. The behavior people are describing is new, doesn't fit the patterns we've all learned for dragon breeding. So it appears the new patch has created either some changes in breeding rules, or has a bug that very likely is related to the re-breed bug showing the wrong dragon. Perhaps even if you don't have the Cuddlewing, it's breeding as though you do have it when you re-breed or giving you options of getting either non epic dragon. Or maybe breeding rules have changed again!

I had a bug(?) I bred my Double Rainbow with Rosegold in co-op. when I wanted to hit retry, I saw that the picture of the dragon was of Rosegold, but the name was Double Rainbow. I checked again and it was Rosegold. Has anyone had something like this?

Anyone know a good combo for paper? Also is the moonstruck Dragon a time specific one? Where it can only be bred certain hours?

I have been reading about the rebreed bug. I don't think that it is breeding like + like. I just bred Celerulean + Berry. When I did the rebreed it said Berry + Berry even though the Celerulean was shown. I got 24 hours. There isn't a 24 hour option with Berry + Berry, but with Berry + Celerulean there is one which is Celerulean. I just thought I would post my findings to help solve that mystery. Maybe Cuddlewing is like Iron Blossom or some other dragon that isn't supposed to be available, but is nonetheless.

This exact scenario happened to me as well. I was breeding my melancholy and friends stoneheart. It finished and when I hit "try again" it showed both of us breeding melancholy. But when I checked what they had up it was still a stoneheart. 

And I've checked: I'm breeding cold w someone's light, called cold in coop rebreed, but getting glares, whereas if it was truly cold X cold, only cold would result; so relax, breedings are true, just the name in the rebreed list is buggy.

Hi everyone. Stopped playing dragonvale for a year and I'm way behind. Have like 35 dragons to get plus the new dragons. Been trying to add people using Game Center with no luck. I have gem slots still available and would really like some more friends to help max out the constant event rewards. Game Center: tempangel . Just started dragonvale world with same name but on android. Will probably add an apple account later. Please please add me!

Hi Tempangel. Things have changed a bit since you last played. You can no longer add friends using Game Center. Friends can only be added by using Facebook.

Now I bred an Ambrosia = Flower + Ambrisia and a Rosegold = Flower + Rosegold. Used about 1k gems. It was a nice run.Sadly none of my friends blue hearted Stoneheart. I would try it.

I can also confirm that I bred Stoneheart by breeding my Ambrosia (which is a non-epic) with someone else's Stoneheart.

This is big change that they just quietly snuck in on us. It looks like you can now clone any dragon - i.e. breeding any two can give you a clone of one of the parents. As you might know, this could only happen if both parents were epics... until now.

And from what people are saying, the odds seem pretty good, too. Personally, I only used about 150 gems to make this happen.

Thank you TexasTed for sharing your Stoneheart Dragon in the CoOp. I was able to clone Stoneheart using my Melancholy Dragon...took about three tries. Longest was a 48 hour fail.
