Not sure if it's a ability or already known but you can wish for twin dragons (for those which you already have the regular ones of).
Well, bless your li'l heart! ❤ I never would have noticed!
WHAT?!? Really? Ugh I used my last wish but I will be getting another in just 12 days... Can anyone verify if they can get a twin ovalith now? Omg. That would be amazing!!
Thanks for all the great ideas guys. The key is to make sure there still is a balance of not being too powerful which can make the game boring, or too weak and not having much benefit to players, which can be hard to gauge and execute given the huge range of players' levels and the different types of players (completionists, decorators, those who maximize their cash/gem earnings, etc). I think this was a good first introduction for the mythical dragons, so BFS can learn a lot from the experience. And this is purely speculation, but if I had to take bets, I'd say any boost to the frequency of twins might come with an upgrade to the CBC, in some compacity.
May I say, The completionists must be on the top of the dragonworld order. All other -ists or -ors must be in a second line. We are probably all of mixed orders; I am for example both a completionist and an Egglander!
May the mythical dragons fly in, and the smoke from the chimney be shown again 😋
haha true, but there are caring degrees of being a completionist. The most extreme (a twin, non twin, adult, baby, juvenile form of every dragon, one of each decoration, every egg pedestal, twin and non twin and even mistake pedestal-like the frostbite one with the wrong base, every island, habitat...) and then there's the less extreme (simply wanting one of every dragon and the egg). It's always interesting to see how others play, how extreme they are into getting everything in the game, how long they've been playing, etc (I was a psych major so maybe that's why I like seeing how/why people play the game). Oh! That gives me a cool idea. A poll for players! I think I'll make one to see how many people on the forum are completionists, decorators, etc. Cool!
Just out of interest, how did getting the Light and Dark dragons work?
It happened a few years ago so my memory may not be 100% accurate. This is what I remember:
During the event there is a special object that looks like a big ring. It has meters on each half, representing light and dark, and multiple tiers on each meter. Players get "energy" when they do their regular activity, just like how you collect roses/iceberries/etc. in current events. I don't think there is a daily limit though. We can pour the energy in one side of the meter. Of course you can either focus on one side, or do light today and dark tomorrow.
Eventually, one of the meter fills up first, base on all the energy collected from all DV players. and The dragon of that side got released first (I think we finished light first). You are then given rewards based on which tier you filled up at the time of release. I think the highest reward is a special giant light habitat. Then we all work toward finishing the other half of the meter and dark dragon comes to life! That's when the event ends. Again, you are rewarded based on the dark tier you reached at that time.
I quite like the event, because there are some strategies involved. If you want the highest tier reward, you better focus on one side. But then you have to guess which side will "win", or else you might end up getting nothing from the winning side. You can see the meter grow from all players donation, so you can "switch side" if you feel like your side is losing Of course it's also serve as a "poll" on what all DV players prefer. Obviously more players chose to stand on the light side
Then you will be going through some crazy grinding if you want the giant dark habitat, because by the time light is done, dark is also close to finish. So if you haven't contribute anything for dark side, you only have very short time to beat the meter (considering everyone is doing the same, it's even more challenging, like a race). It was not easy so I don't know how many players can reach that.
I was a fairly new player, so I didn't get highest reward on either side. But it was my favorite event. It's the only true "global" event where all players work toward one goal, and it's exciting to see the meter growing every day. But the grinding was really painful.
Wow, that sounds really interesting! I'd love to see an event like that again. And more players chose Light than Dark? Poor unloved Dark dragons... You'll always be my favourites!
In case anyone was wondering, the 24 reset timer for rolling the dice in the Mythic Hall of Mysteries is not affected by Kairos. So you can't even reduce the time by 6 hours every 4 days.
Anyway, I tend to look at this similar to how I view the two legendary dragons, Kairos and Gaia. The utility of each of them is nice, but for me, the main reason I like them, and the main reason I'd like to get these new dragons, is simply the coolness factor. I haven't seen a pic of either of these in someone's park yet, but I hope they are bigger and/or look more special than your average limited or epic dragon.
I will never understand the fascination some people have with twins. There is nothing really special about them. They look the exact same as a non-twin. Is it just the fact that it's a twin??? I especially don't care for the look of the twin eggs. The blue hue just mutes the color, and I just don't care for it. Just my opinion.
The only reason I try for twins is for completion. I agree with you about the twin eggs, and I initially sold some of my twin eggs to replace them with normal eggs. I also think that twins would be better if they looked more exciting- maybe they could have a different colour scheme to normal dragons, like shiny Pokemon? However, I learnt that the Dragonarium breathes blue fire after you get all the twins, meaning that BFS considers it an achievement, and I can't bear the idea of not completing something. I also think some eggs, such as the cold and water eggs, look really pretty with the blue glow.

POTM
I had to cause you know we are all thinking it lol
Most are suggesting the power to change dragons or eggs to twins. I suggest the power to look at the breeding pair and be able to breed that last remaining dragon you don't have.

Good morning and greetings from the island La Palma out in the Atlantic where I am staying at the moment,
Thanks for the thread and for taken the question this serious, because serious it is.
I can't post an excelfile from my Ipad, so you have to imagine.
When making a structure of the different types of Valers one had to decide, what comes in what order; this is a difficult question like sorting the old noble families or coat of arms. We have to become something like the College of Arms. I post a picture of Dr Michael Powell Siddons, now retired, (who actually recited one of my Swedish articles in his "The Heraldry of Foreigners in England 1400-1700" (2010)) Well, as I see things it's fairly easy:
Collecting:
Dragons Pedistals "Things"
Beauty without order:
Structure Colours
If we go back to Collecting we of course talk about getting them all. I would propose
Dragons - all - twins - other differences as babies
Eggs and Peds
- all - twins
In this way you can go on making a structure. Of course the ranking is inverted. First you have to have all dragons for example When you also have the twins, you are at a higher level
I would suggest the sign "Big dragon/Big egg" would go to the person who can show you have alla dragons and all eggs. The "Giant dragon/Giant egg" goes to the one having also twins of them all. It's just the "Big dragon/Big egg" we can easely control ....

Some Ideas for Powers - Guaranteed twin on next breed. - Summon a decoration with no availability/cost limits (kind of like a wish, but only for decorations). - Eliminate one outcome from a breeding pair. - Twin Producer - every time this dragon is breeding, the outcome is always a twin. - Epic Levelling - basically Bahamut and Tiamat for epics. - Gifting dragons/eggs/decorations to friends. - Freeze Time - the timer for a 'last call' dragon stays frozen for a short period of time. - Collect all party hats from friends' parks (useful for newbies like me!) - Mini BEB - no availability limits to what dragons can be bred for the next breed. - BEB Dragon - there are no availability limits when this dragon is breeding. - Mini Kairos- instantly finishes one task, regardless of how long it normally takes. - Instantly upgrade anything for free.

Good list! My fave is "eliminate one outcome from a breeding pair". I think it's very sad that we sometimes begin to dislike dragons unreasonably just because we dislike their breeding times. Poor Crystal! Sad Rainbow 🌈 !

Ok that's just cruel. Thanks to daylight savings time I have to wait an extra hour to roll for the mythical dragons, and the time was on my lunch break but now it's an hour later. :/ I'm sure not happy about springing forward
I, umm, bought all the cheap pieces for Bahamut, and then rolled a 20 yesterday for two 200 pieces. Today I rolled a 16 and dropped the 600 gem piece... that just left one 200 gem piece to get for him....
He's, ahh, on my island 12 if anyone wants to peek. O
I'll just keep going on Tiamat tomorrow:)

Yes, same here! I was able to finish Kairos quickly by winning pieces at the racetrack, so hoped maybe it would work this time also. However, I did manage, by paying attention to the pattern, to pick the chests with gems three times in my park, and four times for Smoke-N-Mirrors. So, not a complete waste of time.

I'm starting to really dislike Conifer for that reason, especially when trying for Okenite.
