No luck for me with the mystery egg. I just got a herald. I already have 2 plus a pedestal. Not a total bust since this is a twin but I would have preferred a pond.

I bought the mystery egg as I'd heard some lucky folk found it hatched into a Pond dragon. Mine? It will hatch a Snowflake!!! I think it's Snowflake 3 - but whichever it is I have plenty of them and at one time had about 20 Snowflake pedestals decorating my chilliest island, before I sold them all.
My logging in daily reward of a Monolith dragon of my choice also disappoints as I spent about two years trying for my second Monolith 6 and acquired that during the previous event, so I don't need any more of them either.
Now of course I don't have enough eggs left to buy the pond dragon before it disappears. Is it going to come back later? I've tried breeding it in the coop with Monolith 1 and Lichen, but that only gave me a couple of long fails.
I think I'm muddling through this new collection. I thought I could buy a Pond dragon with my wish, but it's not an option.
Very frustrated at the moment, and on the brink of my Tiamet, with just piece missing.
I so grateful for the decision making solution for choosing casks. The suggestion was - if it's only one cask, pick the centre one and if there are two, pick left and right. Thankyou so much to whoever posted this to ease my troubled mind!

I'll definitely be changing it soon, since I've already gotten 3 twin ponds from people by keeping it up (very grateful for that) and don't really need twins of the fails either. I do wanna help you out, so I'll share it until it expires. Then, if you don't breed it, you can buy the mystery egg and potentially get one.

Hi I wouldn't worry about it! I missed out on Twinkle during the Winter Frostival (or whatever they're calling it now...) I was trying for it in the co-op cave right before this event and I got it! You will, most likely, be able to breed Pond (with someone else's Pond in co-op) in the not-too-distant future.
Of course, if you're impatient for a Pond, you can buy eggs with ur real money!! :-) You would make Backflip very hoppy. Um, er, happy...well, maybe both.
Hi everyone! I've been chasing around for the last few months and haven't checked in at all, but tonight I see everyone enjoying the joys and trials of the newest event. I was thrilled to find out you can spend a wish on a 12 billion coin island! And, I am loving these hidden dragons also. The tulip dragon stops and just stands there looking like a tulip every now and again. Since I was able to breed pond dragons I am hoping to use banked currency on more tulips at the end. I saw online that, in theory at least, all can be bred. Mono 2 + rain= cumulus etc. they're probably already listed in previous pages....
I haven't seen this posted yet, so I'll add it. It looks like BFS changed the breeding hints for both starwing and glowwing. Before it was each other plus the specific chrysalis dragon, but now the breeding hint shows each other plus any dragon of the chrysalis category. So starwing = glowwing plus any chrysalis type dragon (and vice versa). Cool!

I really wish apple hadn't messed up game center, I'd put pond up. I think all my GC friends have quit playing, I think I've only received one twin this month.
Well, sad day in Twelveland. I just blew through my gem stash speeding and breeding, only to end up with nothing (curse u gambling instinct). So I broke down and bought pond dragon.
If I am reading correctly, I may have a chance to breed two others and one free, so not out of the game yet... until the 2nd limited shows up!
Now don't you be saying "12 u crazy", cause u know it's bound to happen. With a monolith boost as a prize it's likely another of them.
Anyways, time to keep on trying... oh, and back to work I go (darn short breaks)

I wouldn't waste a wish on it. It will be available to wish for once the event concludes but remember Pond will be around come BEB time. Two of our games got it fairly quickly and the other two hasn't had luck with it. I know that it will be back for BEB so I have decided to try for it in coop or try for it during BEB. I'm not spending the 6000 on it when I need a lot of other things. This is my first egg event so I am missing a lot of pedestals and dragons plus I really want the Lost Island.

No luck on Pond, so I bought it. Now I have to wait another day to get enough eggs for the habitat. Didn't buy the pedestal, tho, I like to breed for those.
Forgot it was doubles (first thing in the morning) and put myself over the limit, so can't try the Exploit . Curious to hear if it still works.
I did hold off on getting the daily gift until the limit was reached. Pleased to see that those Eggs go straight to accumulated (usable) totals instead of to the Backflip Bank!

The breeding rules changed near BEB, you can get any parent, even ones that are expired and not currently avaliable.
