Within the Egg of Mystery awaits a random dragon. Take a chance on what's inside - you might even hatch a dragon that's not currently available! Alas, the magical aura surrounding the Egg of Mystery excludes the newest dragons.
So, you could pay 1795 eggs and end up with a Plant? Not sure what this is designed for. For old players with most dragons, obviously the risk is too high. For fairly new players, they need so many eggs to get prizes from previous events, then how can they afford to buy this new Mystery egg?

You nailed it there. Not sure who this caters to. Although with Experienced players I guess they might have most of what they are offering already so it gives an opportunity to gamble. However for me a newer player I have too much that I need to save for so this Mystery egg won't get any play.
I'd post a picture of the breeding tips but my phone is being stubborn.
How do you tell which monolith is 1, 2, 3 etc.? Is it based on the left-to-right sequence in Dragonarium? Or is it based on sequence we obtained them from the initial event? If it's the latter, I seriously cannot remember...

I was so busy setting up the thread for Bahamut and Tiamat that I did not start my Mythic Hall of Mysteries until way later in the day. I now have four more hours until reset... just a bit behind! Which reminds me: EVERYONE, don't get so busy with the event you forget to check your Mythic Hall of Mysteries.
Also, did everyone get 20 Magic Eggs from the Burcadian Garden on your event island? Hopefully that resets at reset and isn't also on a 24 hour timer. I am starting to feel like one of those guys who spins the plates on the sticks right up until they all crash!
I could be wrong, but I think I only received treats from the Burcadian Garden. But the daily treasure chest popped right after I tapped it too, so maybe I just missed seeing it? I'll pay better attention tomorrow. 😊

Seems there's just one hidden egg for now. Large, golden, and it gives +25.
Also interesting: The new Chrysalis dragons can be bred. Glowwing can be bred with Chrysalis + Starwing, and Starwing can be bred with Chrysalis + Glowwing.
So it's a bit of a chicken/egg situation. You'll have to buy your first chicken or use someoneone else's in co-op.
Late starting this event as had friends round for evening and bit rude to go off and play on pad ... so having quick catch-up on advice before starting breeding! Still plenty of time yet!
Man there are a lot of posts already... and a lot of prizes to invest in. Best keep an eye out for friends to breed with...
Also, daily gift was a wish...? And new island is massive expensive. Waste wish on it or save another 12 bazillion after I hit 10 for the last one?

I have been using the "participated" button to keep up on new posts!?! But forgot to check for the new Threads. Just spent the last hour trying to catch up on "Here there be MYTHIC.....", "Mythic Egg hunt", 😅still getting to "What type of player ....." because that one needs thought🤓! As well as my DVW threads and my regular Dragonvale threads😰. AAAAAARRRRRRGGGGG😱😱😱

I don't have any new music or theme: it stayed on what I had it on ( dandelions and morning) what theme should I have ? Also can't find last few flag bearers OR the golden egg despite using X-ray vision inch by inch...think the flag bearers are eating the egg behind a Sun 😡
Update: for others having trouble too; I logged out and powered down, then logged back in, and the egg had teleported to a new location and voila! Spotted it

Did you click on the Sundial of Surprises? It is the calendar for the event and for today there were 50 eggs.
shanda2lee , Best to always click on 'NEW POSTS" which is right next to "HOME" as then you won't miss a thing!

I hate clicking on new posts because it lists threads I don't follow with those little purple "new" bubbles😝. You know the ones that DON'T disappear unless you visit the thread 😒!!!!
I don't WANT 😠 to visit those threads. But every time I go back to "New Posts"......there are those purple "NEW" bubbles!!!😡 Taunting me ! IT'S NOT NEW ANYMORE!!!!!😤 I want them to go away but I HAVE to visit each thread to get the list cleared of LITTLE PURPLE BUBBLES!!!!!

I think you really only need for your park to reload. So, visit Nogard, or one friend, Go Home, and your park's elusive inhabitants will have changed Islands. Koala

Yes, I got that one. 😊 Went to my son's park for him, and the garden did indeed give 20 eggs. So I just missed seeing it pop when I harvested.😁
